We arrived at 5pm, and had no wait. We quickly received chips and salsa and a waitress took our drink order. Our dinner order came quickly. The staff was very friendly.
The restaurant was very clean and had a lot of staff on hand.
One thing I like here over other local Mexican restaurants is that hot sauce bottles are right on the table. I had the taco salad. It was perfect!

This was the absolute worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. And the service was just as bad as the food. It had been quite awhile since I had eaten at this restaurant but I remember the food was very good. Not sure what changed but the food was almost inedible. I had a taco salad with chicken. The chicken was boiled! Whoever heard of that…big pieces of boiled chicken on the bottom of the taco shell followed by small portion of watery shredded lettuce, a few diced tomatoes and maybe a teaspoon of sour cream. No guacamole. The worst taco salad I have ever eaten. My sister had a beef burrito. It was bland and tasteless. Even the salsa was bland. Our waitress was a no show after bringing the drinks and menus. After about 15 minutes, we found a manager who took our orders. He was very unfriendly and never apologized for the wait. Once our food arrived, no one ever checked on us again. We had to run an employee down to get the check. Another very rude person who never bothered to ask if everything was ok. It would have been a total waste of time and energy to try and convey my disappointment to these employees. It was blatantly obvious that they didn’t care. Hopefully their superiors will see this review. Note: My sister paid the check and left a 15 percent tip. I would not have left a tip.

i’ve been eating here since i was a kid and the food has gone down hill quite a bit. i always order my favorite dish (chicken enchiladas) and every time i go now, it lacks flavor! they used to season the chicken and put peppers and onions in the enchiladas but now it’s just unseasoned chicken, queso and tortillas.. i still love this restaurant and eat here occasionally but i wish they would go back to making the food flavorful like it used to be. 3 stars.

Buena Vista recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. I have been a loyal supporter for 28 years. This establishment just has something that keeps bringing people back year after year. The food is always hot, and the staff is fantastic. You always feel welcome when you eat here. The salsa is on point, and the cheese dip is top-notch. Highly recommend this fine family-run establishment.

Our second time here! Wish I would have remembered our server name. We had the same gentleman both times. The food was good again. The salsa tasted a little off today tho. But, our tea and water was kept full, the food came out fast and hot and everyone ate it all. We were a party of 7 today. The churros were awesome!

The service was good. We were seated quickly, in an outdoor space which was very nice. The inside of the restaurant was beautifully and uniquely decorated, lots of fun. The server was kind and the food was very tasty. We were just passing through but I would definitely stop again if we were passing through on another day.

I would say, if you would like to experience a wonderful, Mexican restaurant environment, this is the place for you, but do not expect good food. The salsa was lacking flavor all together and the chicken was not fresh at all. Don’t get me started on the margarita—-The worst house margarita mix I think I’ve ever had but I will say that it did give me a buzz. Unfortunately, I need more than a buzz to eat here.

I ordered fish tacos, and what I got was overcooked frozen fillets inside of Stale tortillas with no spices no flavor. It was super dry. There were no vegetables nothing. They used to have great food. I don’t know what happened. I wouldn’t recommend this to a dog. The service was fine, but the food was trash.
