So I live about an hour above Fort Myers in Port Charlotte, and a friend of mine lives about an hour and a half below Fort Myers in Ave Maria and both of us have been hearing all over social media about Uncle Rico‘s pizza. Today I met up with my daughter who goes to school in Ft Myers and finally got a chance to check it out. Sunday most of the staff just got out of church and to work which was pretty awesome so I really liked that about this family that owns the business. The place was packed. We ordered a couple cheese slices and some grandma slices, and garlic knots. The food was amazing. My daughter and I couldn’t get over how the grandma slices were so crispy, light and what a sweet sauce. The garlic knots were soft tasty and great. Most places don’t even know how to make garlic knots. They nailed it. The pizza was awesome. Definitely it’s a takeout spot right now because there’s very limited seating. I heard they’re expanding into the next storefront. This will be awesome for them. Hands down the best pizza in Fort Myers maybe even all of Southwest Florida l. Please go check out this local business. A++++ NY pizza snob loves Uncle Rico’s pizza !!!!

From the moment you walk in, everyone is super friendly and welcoming. You can tell they truly care about their customers. The pizza is always fresh, hot, and loaded with flavor — perfectly cooked every time.
It’s hard to find a place that has both amazing food and great customer service, but Uncle Rico’s definitely delivers on both. If you’re in Lee County and craving pizza, this is the spot!

Uncle Rico’s has been hands down the best pizza I’ve had in Southwest Florida. I prefer a thin crust pizza, and this one was thin, light, and airy. The dough was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of char. I’ll definitely be back again to try different varieties.
Not only is this the best pizza I’ve had in Southwest Florida so far—it could stand toe-to-toe with anything I’ve eaten in New York City or Philadelphia. If you’re looking for a truly great pizza experience, you definitely want to try this place.
As for the atmosphere, it’s fun and nostalgic, with 90s music and quirky décor that transport you back to that era. However, the dining area is extremely small—maybe five tables inside and a few more out front. Because it’s so busy, it can feel a bit chaotic with people constantly coming and going for takeout orders.
It’s always best to eat pizza as fresh as possible. When we took ours home, we even cracked the box lid open so it wouldn’t continue cooking in the steam. We ate it within ten minutes of it coming out of the oven, and it was still phenomenal. That said, if you can snag a seat and eat in, that’s ideal—but if not, taking it home right away works just fine.
All in all, a tremendous experience. The best pizza I’ve found yet in Southwest Florida. Definitely give this one a try if you haven’t already.

Favorite pizza place!! Pizzas are wonderful, excellent selection of toppings, love the sauce and the dough tastes so good! Blanco and house special are fantastic. Am addicted to the pizza rolls! Cannot wait to try the Papa Al Huancaina pizza and the Fugazetta and the Lomo Saltado pizza!!!

Growing up in an Italian family in New York, we ate a lot of pizza from pretty much all the boroughs and I gotta say after having Uncle Rico’s Pizza, it tasted like home. Hands down the most Authentic NY Pizza you will find in either Cape Coral, Ft. Myers and Naples area of which I have already tried. If you are looking to experience a piece of the best made pizza around, do yourself a favor go directly to Uncle Rico’s Pizza in Ft. Myers you will be grateful you did.
Ordered a Margherita yesterday for lunch, it was delivered nice and hot with the crunchy crust. Immediately ate 3 slices, later in the evening had another room temperature so delish and to top it off had 2 more this morning warmed up in toaster. This pizza is delightfully delicious at any temperature. So so good! Grazie Uncle Rico’s for taking pride in your craft, it shows!

Uncle Rico’s literally has the best pizza we’ve had since moving to FL 8 years ago. The staff were so friendly. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they absolutely need a bigger location. The place has 5 tiny tables smooshed together and they are so busy that people are nonstop jammed in waiting for orders. The food is so good, they need a better space to showcase their talent.

Placed the order online and i arrived early for pickup, they were very accommodating and provided me with my order 15mins ahead of the pickup time.
We ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza with garlic knots and both were extremely good. Will be back!
