This Bob Evans is highly disappointing. Upon arrival my husband and I were greeted very friendly. However that changed with our server Kathleen. While taking our drink orders she couldn’t seem to look at us there was no engagement at all. We asked for coffee Xtra creamer and waters no ice. When she brought them back she slammed placed the in front of us very hard almost slamming them, forgot straws and creamer. We placed our orders that included hot cakes and I specifically requested sugar free syrup and hubby asked to add dry rye toast. While waiting on the food not once did she come back to check if we needed more coffee, which we did! She finally comes back near us to serve another table and she walked right past us not asking if we needed anything. I called out to her for extra napkins when she brought them back she didn’t even come all the way to our table to bring them she stretched her reach like she didn’t want to get too close. Kathleen brings food to table sausage patties were over cooked no dry rye toast and 2 containers of syrup that did not taste like sugar free ( I’m a diabetic I know what it should taste like and usually SF syrup is still is smuckers bottle or individual sealed containers). Jennifer another server passed with pot of coffee I asked her if she could pour some and she did gladly and also asked if what we had wa SF syrup and she said no. We asked her to please take over serving us and she did which is why we stayed. Mind you the restaurant was not extremely busy. My husband even spoke to the manager about how we felt there was a display of discrimination and we will call corporate. We ate our meal and paid check manager was at counter and not once offered any apology for the experience. Ari the clerk that checked us out was nice. Within an hour my husband and I both had severe stomach issues and we can only think it was from the food likely the pattie or linked sausage bcuz we both had that meat. We will be calling corporate because of the way we felt.

Bob Evans has always been a family restaurant and a go-to for my family. The food is good, but the portions are small for the prices. The menu pictures do not look like what they serve you. One member of our party ordered a fish sandwich, and it was literally just bread and fish. The waitress was very nice and noticed and took it back to the kitchen to correct it. I got the chicken salad sandwich, a lot of bread, and very little chicken salad. I would go back, but I would just order differently.

I stopped in “Bob Evans” to order chicken soup to go because my mother loves their chicken noodle soup. The lady working at the cash register was very friendly and I ended up leaving their with my Mom’s favorite soup and a smile on my face.

I visited this Bob Evans in October 2025. This location is still nice. They keep up-to-date and the food is good, whereas I’ve noticed many Bob Evans locations, including the one on Snow Rd in Brook Park, have declined. It’s great to know I can just drive a little further to visit this one. They were busy also. So it’s obvious they continue to invest in this location. I wish the other locations did as well.

It’s a shame because this is where we either go or order from but when your customer calls in because they had an issue with their food and they tell you about it and you just counter with that’s how you ordered it! Nobody orders their potatoes burnt on one order and on the other it to taste like a salt lick with no gravy and undercooked potatoes Marianne! Do better!

Stacey was a great waitress . She knows what a customer needs. I know from experience waiting tables is hard work especially when busy on a weekend.I had breakfast & lunch the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend this location it’s clean , quick and freeway accessible.

Just finished the turkey sandwich yesterday. Today a review of the fantastic sandwich , and the single pancake that was perfect too. Great overall first experience here. We will skip on the “Barrel” going forward.

This is my first time in Bob Evans. We went to the store at Middleburg heights on a Saturday afternoon. Its a wonderful place for family. I was talking to someone who said that there is usually long wait before you can get in. But we just walked in. The food is fresh and yummy. The ambiance is really welcoming.

Always good food and pleasant atmosphere. Friendly and efficient staff. Never had a bad meal here – until now. Ordered the Honey Butter Chicken meal and even before I took a bite I could smell a heavy, greasy odor. Took a couple of bites and that’s all I could tolerate. To their credit, they removed the meal from my bill and offered my the option of ordering something else. All things considered, still a great place to eat.

This is my favorite Bob Evans in the area! The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is top notch! I personally ordered the pot roast sandwich and my husband got the new honey fried chicken…we loved them both! Must try if you’re near Middleburg Heights!
