This place has been around for 50 plus years. Over the last 10 years it’s been hit and miss. But in the last couple of years the food has been absolutely delicious. Their salsa is excellent, they’re white dip is unbeatable, their fajita chicken salad and their quesadilla and their cheeseburgers and their dinner combos are also very very good. I drive an hour to eat here.

My husband’s aunt and uncle used to own this restaurant so we are a little biased. The white sauce is amazing! It is a nice restaurant with really friendly staff. They typically stay busy. There is an event space for parties separate from the main dining area. They have reusable to go cups and will give you to-go containers for your chips and dip as well. Gift cards are also available. We spent on average $13 a plate on the weekend. If you go mid week, you can order from their lunch menu and get a discount.

I got the chicken chimichanga and it was great!! Nice little Okie Mex style restaurant.
Salsa AND white dip are included in your meal, and the white dip didn’t disappoint, it was really good!
I’m not in the area that much, but next time I am, you can guarantee I’ll be going to Hamlin’s

Was not impressed with food taste or price for 2 enchiladas only. $8.** white sauce it’s raved about and I’m still confused on why. Salsa was tomato paste chips was thin and crispy. Over all look of the atmosphere low scale

Man I don’t know where to start. Well 1st we live in Tulsa. We was in Muskogee to go see our 1st grandson who was born at the St Francis hospital in Muskogee . We decided to go eat at this restaurant. Not only did after the lady I thought was going to sit us at a table she gave us the menu she didn’t even let us know who was coming back to get our drink order. We look around and other was help and serve but no one came back after we was seated and only person came with a odd look on their face was a bust boy who was coming to clean the area we was seated. Yes the table and seat was dirty. But figure they did a horrible job and I just brush the chips off the seat before my 3 daughters was going to sit and me and my husband. We will never go to this place again cause of the no service. I honestly want to put NO STARS but they get a 1 start for the fact I was nice.

One of my favorite local eats. Relaxed atmosphere, hearty food, great servers (shout outs to Miranda and Chase!)
Ps If you are budget conscious you can go for lunch to get a good deal with a drink!

Hamlin’s El Toro isn’t Mexican or Tex Mex food! It is Okie Mex, and it is delicious!!!! The white sauce is AMAZING! The flavors blend together to make a tantalizing dip for your chips. All of the food is flavorful, and the portions are generous! I highly recommend you visit here when you visit Muskogee, OK.

I stopped at Hamlin’s to pick up white sauce and chips. The white sauce was very runny with little flavor. It looks like it was thinned down. The sauce had very few olives and few onions in it. It tasted like watered down buttermilk. I will skip the white dip from now on. The chips, as usual, were very fresh.
