Great authentic German food! Went for lunch with my brother; we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Ordered a Bavarian Pretzel with beer cheese sauce for an app; the pretzel was very big and both were very good. I had the Artichoke Spinach Chicken Sandwich with twist fries; the sandwich was amazing and the fries were a nice change from usual. My brother had the Schnitzwich, which he said was also very good; his potato side was German potato salad which was served warm and was very good. Great waitstaff and service as well!

We visited the Braising Pan for lunch and it was overall excellent. It was very crowded (two large parties came in right after us) but the waitresses were still friendly and attentive.

We ordered the biscuits and gravy and the schnitzwich with a side of chicken and dumpling soup. The biscuits and gravy were by far the best – the biscuits were light and fluffy, the gravy was delicious, and there was a perfect biscuit:gravy ratio. The schnitzwich was pretty good and crispy. The lemon aoili was very flavorful. The soup wasn’t out of this world but it was pretty good.

If we go back, we’d like to try the Reuben and the Challah fench toast.

We went there on a Friday evening and since we did not make a reservation, waited for about 30 minutes. That being said, the food and waitstaff were superb. My husband had the elk and I had the shrimp alfredo. So well done on both accounts. Many people were there for the fish fry and from the satisfied looks on their faces, they were equally pleased. Definitely call ahead and make that reservation before you go, especially on the weekends.

Stopped by here one weekend after a wedding up in Wisconsin. Unfortunately they are now only open for brunch. I was hoping to get those crab legs that I saw from other people’s posts. Oh well. Hoping they’d bring it back. So this review just refers to the breakfast. I had the home made corned beef hash and it was good. Big portion, farm fresh eggs, crisp potatoes and sourdough toasts. Had a good strawberry jam too. Paired well with the bacon bloody Mary. That was definitely the highlight. They didn’t have the decked out bloody Mary at that time either. The inside has a mix of booths and tables. Not too packed. Parking is easy in the parking lot. Overall I’d say a good place to stop by for breakfast.

This place is worth the drive through the beautiful Kettle Moraine. For starters don’t miss the Crave Curds. We had the herb chicken and glazed salmon entrees, and both were excellent!

We had the Bourbon Chicken Sandwich (my husband) and the Cranberry Chicken Salad Sandwich (me) both with German Potato Salad as a side on our last visit. The food was good, service was ok, but for lunch, I think a better value could be obtained elsewhere.

Fantastic date night option. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and the servers are very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of food for the price. We ordered the smothered sirloin steaks and loved every bite. Can’t wait to come back and try something different.

Very good main course. The sides were not very good but get I came for the salmon not the gravy with a side of potatoes. The cabbage was also a little sweet for my liking. But man oh man was the salmon delicious. Good wait staff as well checked in frequently.

We found this on a random trek to West Bend and have since made it a go-to breakfast spot on Sundays. Their breakfast options are stellar. You can get any omelette as a skillet, and even get a side of silver dollar pancakes! (Because, to be honest, who can eat a pancake the size of your head after a skillet lol) On top of that, the staff has been on top of their game. Have a few minutes to wait? Grab a cocktail! They’ve got mojito’s in numerous flavors, I’ve tried the key lime and raspberry jalapeno. Both were delicious. Want coffee with a little extra kick? Their their Ice Frappe with a shot of hazelnut liquor! All i know if that i’d like to try one of everything… The images are of the Eggs Benedict ( which was cooked to perfection, beautiful golden yolk!) and the Raspberry Jalapeno Mojioto.
