That said, over $600 for hot pot is honestly insane. At that price point, the experience does not justify the cost. Happy Lamb Hot Pot is just as good food-wise and dramatically cheaper. Yes, the service here is better, but it is not $600 good.
Also, what is going on with the furniture? Everything is absurdly low. My knees were touching the table, and everyone in our party hated the seating. It felt cheap and tacky, which is especially jarring given how “luxury” the restaurant is trying to be.
Overall, tasty broth, great meat, and good service, but wildly overpriced and uncomfortable. I would only come back if prices were cut significantly.
Faves: Half creamy pork broth half tomato broth. Short plate, fried bean curd roll, tong ho, pea sprouts, veggie platter, shrimp paste.
Set menu options are a good deal, along with happy hour during lunch and late night. Plenty of parking (which they validate), reservations recommended.

Lee & Kai were fantastic.
Seating area is large with hot tea and iced fruit water. There’s some candy and table games. I recommend getting on the Yelp waitlist on weekends. If you call them, they can add you too.
I think the ingredients they use are good quality and tasty. You order items on a table/iPad. The broths are $9.99, even for split pot. I wish they had an option for split regular bone broth + spicy. The service is good too. This isn’t an all you can eat hot pot, so you pay for each plate you order.
Come here for your birthday! They give a pretty happy birthday sign and let you spin the wheel to win something.
There is a charge per person to use the self-serve sauce bar. There’s also a variety of desserts and fruits, which is my favorite section.
Two things I would note:
1. I left my jacket in the coat rack at the front of the restaurant, but it didn’t help with the smell. The clothes I was wearing from head to toe smelled badly afterwards. My jacket smelled equally as bad.
2. Check your receipt before you hand over payment. They add 3% if you use credit card to pay. There are signs on each table btw. The receipt also says that if you insist on using credit card and want to remove it, you can fill out a survey by scanning the QR code on the receipt.
Bathroom is in the way back of the restaurant.
Credit card/apple pay accepted
No WiFi
The edamame was clearly not fresh. it tasted old and like it had been sitting out for too long. Definitely not the quality I expected. The hot pot base was also very mediocre, tasting just like the pre-packaged soup bases you can buy from the supermarket. There was nothing special or flavorful about it.
On top of that, the food was quite pricey for the quality offered. It simply wasn’t worth the cost.
To make matters worse, they add a 3% surcharge if you pay by credit card. They say the fee will be waived if you complete a survey, which feels unnecessary and a bit off-putting.
Overall, not worth the visit. I wouldn’t return.
By all accounts, Dolar shop is one of my favorite hotpot places in Seattle. The food is delicious, the staff is always professional and kind, the broth is superb, and I love the sauce bar. Our waiter made us their signature sauce and it was delicious! The food and atmosphere is worth the wait. However they recently implemented this ridiculous policy about credit cards that is a complete turn off.
For ANY bill, they ask you to pay in cash or debit because they dont want to pay the 3% credit card fee. They do allow you to waive it if you take a Google survey, but everyone is going to click through it just to get over it. You’re not a small business, this is a premium hotpot place in Bellevue. Everyone’s bill is easily $100+, what is $3? If you must just add 3% to the base broth price, that would annoy people less.
