The food was very tasty and the atmosphere quite appealing. Service could have been just a little more attentive, but overall it was fine. Good value for money.

I was visiting Minneapolis for work and this was some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. It’s authentic. It tastes just like what my friend’s mom used to make us when we were kids. Loved the Poori, the Bharta, and the sweet dessert milk balls. SO GOOD. This place deserves better star reviews honestly. I get it, everywhere has trendy vibes now and this place is more like no frills straightforward, but the food is really freaking good.

The chicken vindaloo was amazing. Little disappointed with the house platter. Would defiantly order again though just drop the platter and grab some naan.

Went here with high expectations considering to all the good ratings. The food is mediocre at best. Ordered a veg curry and the curry showed up with full of potatoes. I’ve asked and apparently they put 4 potatoes in every veg curry. So if you are a fan of potatoes, this is the place to go..

Excellent dining and overall experience. Great decor and seating. Comfortable and well spaced out. Not crowded late the night before Thanksgiving. Really good menu. Lots of variety and classic Asian Indian dishes. We ordered the appetizer platter to try everything and then aloo gobi and a veggie korma. Medium spicy. I could have had more spicy. Maybe next time. Rice on the side and then garlic naan and green pepper naan and a roti. Good stuff. We just ordered water and a chai to drink. Also very good. Sweeten to taste. The service was always available and attentive, but still the take out business kept them busy. No problem for us or timing or anything. Highly recommended. I’ll need to go more often to sample the rest of the menu. It’s always great to find genuine home cooked food. We only had a few naan left to take home. Everything was delicious.

This has been my go-to Indian restaurant for years. It’s very burnt to stop the before a show at the downtown theaters. Great food, and if you are convincing enough to them that you’re not a Minnesotan, they can make their curry at a decent heat level! I love the korma and tika masala.

I went with friends who were told to try it. The aroma of spices could be smelled at the corner of the street. The staff was very knowledgeable and kind. We ordered multiple items to share family style. Everything was so good. That’s almost statically unlikely, but true in this case. I will definitely come back if I’m in that area again.

Definitely my favorite Indian place in the twin cities right now. The portions are generous, the flavors are bold, the drinks are strong, staff are attentive, and everything comes out fast. I love coming here for dinner before an event downtown.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but this was a really disappointing experience. Although the service was OK, the food left much to be desired. We ordered the Chicken 65 appetizer and it was very dry and bland. We also ordered the lamb Josh and Chettinad goat curries, both of which had little to no meat (the Josh was boneless and still had very little meat included). I asked for my curry to be hot/spicy and there was pretty much no heat. When prices are so high when going out, receiving meals like this is very disappointing.

this place has a convenient location, Prime spot restaurant.. atmosphere inside is OK. Benches are so narrow that i had hard time getting in n out. Never seen that tight space anywherr else. Food was average. Presentation and serving was below par. Soups and curry were dripping from serving bowl on sides.Good for one time try.
