Great little hidden gem. Easy to get to and parking adjacent to the pub across the creek. We were there in the winter but it looks like it would be beautiful in the summer. Excellent British pub atmosphere with great food and large selection of beer on tap. The owner seated and served us and was incredibly friendly and courteous. Would highly recommend and definitely go back.

great experience! first time here and we loved it
the rootbeer was top tier and not many places have root beer but i was so happy they did!
liver and onions was cooked to perfection! great fresh flavour. could use more onions but it was amazing anyways!
steak and kidney pie was so delish! steak was so tender, didn’t get much kidney in it but it tasted great. flakey crust on the pie
fish and chips were also great! huge piece of haddock and cooked perfectly with a crisp outside! lots of fresh fries and the coleslaw was homemade and amazing. the tartar sauce was made in house and 10/10
lovely staff and interior as well!
thanks for having us

This was a great little pub tavern. Warm and inviting, featuring delicious comfort food. The bangers and mash were quite tasty, although I would’ve enjoyed the baked beans on the side, and the Sheppard’s pie was flavourful and filling. The service was wonderful and attentive. The place was an all around great vibe. Would eat here again.

Great atmosphere at the Crow’s Nest! The staff are fantastic — especially Mat, who made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Excellent service, friendly energy, and a place that truly cares about its guests. Definitely coming back again soon!

Went for dinner on the weekend and it was my first time being here, not all was bad. Staff were very friendly and service was good. The bacon, cheese spinach dip was very good. My salad with balsamic dress was really good. The butter chicken had 1 small piece of chicken and not sure there was anymore. It was more like soup with maybe very fine shredded chicken, not sure? Roast beef dip hardly had meat on it. Pulled pork sandwich had a ketchup sauce, not even BBQ. The nachos had bagged shredded cheese that did not melt under the first layer or center. HUGE portion though. The table beside us got the Prime Rib special and it looked fabulous. Not sure if it was but looked it. It was busy that is for sure so maybe it was just our food choices. Would I go back hmmm not sure. I am not a person to send food back and we were on a timed schedule.

Service was awesome from Julie i believe, its a very warm and welcoming place, beautiful interior decorations.
Nachos are great value for money, wings were hot and crispy.
I wish there was a Friday special as well since there is a special for other nights.

We booked a table for our group of 10 at Crow’s Nest for a family dinner before our wedding a few weeks ago and had the best time —it was exactly what we wanted… great vibes, great food (fish & chips was amazing!), guinness draught and amazing service. Would highly recommend and we’ll be back next time we visit newmarket.

Had lunch there today..my beef sandwich was good..and I had a small Greek salad. My friend had a chicken stir fry…she enjoyed hers..
The atmosphere was great, place was packed and parking was abit of an issue but I would definitely go back there another time. I would try something else next time. We weren’t rushed at all, infact we were there for over 3 hours! Cute pub right in the middle of Newmarket.
Our server was lovely..she has worked there for many years part time, that says a lot in itself.
