I ordered a hamburger, jack cheese, let and tom w/ thousands island dressing and french fries. The bun and burger were good. The bun was the star great buttery flavor and held up without breaking down. High quality bun. The beef pattie, I thought, was small for an $18 burger. The fries were like warm and battered. Some people obviously like battered french fries because they are still on the market…lol… however, I do not. I did have to send my burger back because it came out with american cheese; they just took it back and slapped a jack cheese slice on for me. It was back out in 15 seconds, maybe 30 seconds…lol.

You really need to read the menu. It’s kind of tricky. You may end up paying more than you have to. They definitely over charge on things. For instance they have an impossible burger for a little over $17, still expensive; but if you order any other style of burger, the menu states, you can substitute an impossible burger for only $4 more. Why not just custom the impossible burger. Plus fries, potatoe salad and coleslaw come with a meal; but irritated is a significant up charge for tater tots or sweet potatoes fries…$3.99, four bucks for a different king of frozen potatoe. My wife ordered the chicken strips, they were greasy and tasted like the grease; probably needed an oil change…lol.

The service was not unfriendly, not friendly. It was almost like she didn’t want to be there. I get it; but should your customers have to pay for you bad day? Not a big deal had the food been better; and my wife when she went in told me it was quite a wait until she was seated and again until she was attended. She ordered hers togo.

The food was okay. It was expensive. Make sure you keep track of what you order if you make any substitutions because they may slip a charge you don’t necessarily need to pay, the menu is messed up like that as I explained. I’ll put pictures in this review.

Order the Philly cheesesteak and I was not disappointed. Very tasty and a lot of food. I substituted onion rings instead of french fries. Also had a side of mozzarella sticks which were crispy, and delicious. Nice atmosphere and excellent customer service. I would definitely return for another meal.

Customers that were sitting in the booths behind ours (who were seated after us) were greeted with a warm smile and hugs from the server but that same server gave our table a cold shoulder. No warm welcoming nor did the server even try to crack a smile. Our cups were empty but yet customers around us got their drinks refilled without asking within a 5 min period after finishing their drinks while we had to sit almost 20 mins before we got our refills. Every customer should feel welcomed and I did not feel welcomed at all. Our order came with a salad but once we received the food we had to remind the server that we were missing the salad mind you that the salad takes less prep time than the hot food which should of been the first item to come out and the food was only mediocre. The two steaks that were ordered were suppose to be medium, but one side was cooked way more than the other side, so when you cut into the steak even though its medium the slices looked like it was well done. One of our orders also came with a baked potato but was informed that they were out of the baked potato yet the booth/table behind us that was greeted with warm smiles and hugs was told that they got the last baked potato, mind you that they came in after us. In addition, the table across from us who was seated before us was informed that there is no more baked potato, we werent informed there is no more baked potato until our order was already in the process of being made but yet the table that came after us received the last baked potato. It was my first time here and my last time.

If you’re planning for a quick and appetizing breakfast then plan to go elsewhere. The surrounding shops are great, but this restaurant doesn’t complement the area very well.

The food was subpar. The eggs and bacon were cold by the time we got our food roughly 25 minutes after ordering and the hash browns were just okay.

Service was good, the host was attentive.

We came for breakfast (with our dog and they were extremely accommodating). We ordered the prime rib and eggs, and Baja omelette. Everything was delicious. I am obsessed with the prime rib, cooked to perfection. Alicia was our waitress and she was fantastic. The host was incredible accommodating as I mentioned, just want to make sure I give credit properly. Leaving very happy and ready to come back.

First off Jasmine is very sweet and her service was excellent. I understand the menu has changed, I don’t have a problem with that, however it seems the quality of the chef is basically cafeteria style. The brightly colored mixed vegetables of broccoli, carrots, zucchini cooked to perfection have been replaced with what appeared to resemble canned vegetables. I did not like it at all, mushy and salty. Mashed potatoes overly salty and the gravey was aweful. My salmon was dry and salty. It Hope the original way of preparing comes back otherwise my husband and will not be back for a long time. My husband had the fried chicken plate and he was highly disappointed as well. Same icky vegetables and salty mashed potatoes. The chicken didn’t look crispy.

Always wanted to pass by to eat at the restaurant. We have been there for a pit stop and walked around. The restaurant did not disappoint. It has a modern rustic feel to it. Service was good. The food was amazing. The steak was as fresh as it can be. Actually cooked to the correct temperature I requested (medium). Seasoned enough to make sure the meat was the star. For $21 it was a steal. My son asked for orange juice and it was freshly squeezed and delicious. After we set we walked around and enjoyed the kids play area next to the carousel and pond. Definitely worth the stop

The food at Casa Del Fruta Restaurant was outstanding, but the customer service, unfortunately, was lacking, particularly from the manager, Cristina. You could clearly tell she was on something, from how she was moving quickly around the restaurant, acting busy but not actually doing anything. She could definitely use some additional training in customer service.

It’s been a long time since I’ve visited Casa De Fruta. Way back when it was only a fruit stand. Yes! Many moons ago! Now, a restaurant and more! My husband and I stopped by on our way home. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with soup. I ordered the salmon with salad. See photos. Food tastes bland. PERIOD. I was told, different chefs. Different tastebuds? I don’t know. We are saying NO to this food choices we made! Other than the bad lunch choices. Our server Nichole was pleasant. Despite her being busy! Nice expansion, Casa De Fruta! But please… food can do so much better? Given that location is off the freeway! More hungry customers to attract! Thank you!
