From out of town, and my coworker and I wanted a nice meal after walking around the city all evening. Most definitely a must-try when you’re in the area. Mei was amazing! She had great suggestions and helped me pair a nice port with dessert. I will be returning if I find myself in D.C. again!

I’ve never been disappointed in this restaurant. Everything is always spot on perfect. My girlfriend said the chicken nuggets have now ruined her, as she will not be able to enjoy “normal” nuggets again. The risotto croquettes are tiny fried balls of truffled heaven.

This place exceeds all expectations! Our waiter Carlos brought us an order of their croquettes “just because he thought we would enjoy them”. He was correct! The food is thoughtfully prepared to perfection. The atmosphere is on par with a Michelin Star restaurant. If you haven’t experienced this place you are truly missing out. We can’t wait to go back.

The food here is so incredible. The other reviews echo that. The highlight was our waiter, Carlos. He had such a bright, fun personality. Great food coupled with wonderful wait staff is all the difference in the experience. Would highly recommend. You will not be disappointed (except with the bill maybe ).

The best restaurant in Washington DC in my eyes. Central Michel Richard has the ambiance, the service, the food, and the best chicken nuggets you will ever have. (Yes, they are gourmet chicken nuggets.) Whether you are having a work meeting, going out with friends, or you’re really going through something and need to drown yourself in mashed potatoes, Central is the place to be. (I’ve done all three.) I have been going to Central for eleven years, and every dollar my family and I have spent here has been 100% worth it. This restaurant is basically family to us. My top recommendations:

I do miss some things, like the brunch menu, but over a decade a restaurant does need to evolve. My mom loves their french onion soup, and a compliment from my mom is almost as difficult to achieve as an actual Michelin star. Five stars all the way around.

Tasteful Travels
I had a wonderful time dining on the outside terrace here on a warm early summer afternoon. The view of the Waldorf Astoria and people watching along with the great wine selections made for a very enjoyable experience. The service was perfect and the 3 hours I relaxed her melted away into a series of perfect moments. The Fried Chicken was amazing!!!

It was a wonderful meal. Beautiful restaurant. Risotto croquettes, chopped salad. Salmon, Branzino, hamburger and short ribs were all fantastic. The short ribs in particular were so flavorful and tender. Complimentary chocolate for desert was the topping. Will return.

The food is very good. The chicken schnitzel was delicious. My daughter loved her spagetti bolognese. I was not a fan of the Faux Graux, but my daughter liked it which is surprising. Very good food.
