Giovanni’s Caffè and Pizzeria, previously known as “Charlie’s Coffee Company”, is a business that has been operating for years and that is now owned by Giovanni. Giovanni arrived in Cambridge in September 2015 to take an English course. He was only 19 years old and was very happy to have an experience abroad. On his third day in Cambridge, he stopped by to see an Italian friend who worked at Charlie’s Coffee Company. That day, Charlie, the previous owner, met Giovanni and asked him if he knew how to make pizzas; Giovanni replied that he was eager to learn and so he did. From that day onwards he began to work for Charlie’s, bettering himself every day in the production aspects and management of the We look forward to welcoming you soon.
Hip destination for Italian-style pizza and coffee as well as high teas and craft beers.

Just wow!
Working away in Cambridge and I’m trying lots of restaurants
This one did not disappoint. The atmosphere, the staff, the food, the price all good
I thought for a good while to see if there was anything I didn’t like and I couldn’t think of anything.
We walked in on a busy Tuesday night around 7 and luckily got seated straight away.
My “Dr Johnny” calzone was off the chart
I will definitely be back
I find it really annoying when restaurants make you stick exactly to their menu and not allow you to change something from another dish to have with your meal, but here you could choose anything you wanted to, from the menu.
Food was very tasty and nicely presented with a more than sufficient portion size for a hungry male like myself. I could find nothing to complain about, which is unusual for me.
They have an outside eating area at the front where you can sit and watch the world go by.
I even visited the toilets which were modern, clean and pleasant unlike some places you visit.
Grazie mille.
You order at the counter, so there’s no pressure to order if not ready. The pizzas were served really quickly, and the regular was massive!
