The place is decorated in a Mexican style. The food is good and there’s a wide variety. The “garritas” tacos are one of their specialties and are quite gourmet, but the prices are reasonable. There are plenty of waiters, but they aren’t very attentive to whether you need anything else. The prices are affordable.

This was our first time trying Palenque Grill.
There was no wait time, seated immediately.
Our server, Christopher was very polite and responsive to all of our questions.
My wife ordered the Volcanes which is an appetizer but she ordered as an entree and she said they were delicious. I ordered the Chile Relleno which were very good.
Christopher brought us a dessert to welcome us as first time customers.
We certainly enjoyed ourselves and plane on visiting again.

Wow, simply amazing. Fresh hot food. Friendly service. The chips and salsa are out of this world. Scrumptious. The hot salsas will scorch your mouth, but are really good as well. We’d love to come back someday. The prices are steep, but the food is really good. Everything was exceptional. Really enjoyed Palenque Grill.

This was our first time visiting Palenque Grill, and overall the experience was just okay. The food was decent, but the service could have been better. Our waitress lacked charisma, and no one greeted us when we arrived or acknowledged us when we left. There was also loud music playing from somewhere in the restaurant, which made it harder to enjoy the atmosphere. Hoping for a better experience next time.

Adrian C. was outstanding! The fajitas were absolutely amazing—perfectly seasoned, sizzling, and full of flavor. And the tres leches? Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Moist, rich, and not overly sweet—pure perfection. The food alone would bring me back, but the overall experience made it unforgettable. Highly recommend and will 100% be returning!

Excellent experience at Palenque Grilled. The Mar y Tierra Prime was outstanding, full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and nice presented. The food was served quickly and exceeded our expectations. Our server, Julio, provided professional, attentive, and courteous service throughout our visit, and I highly recommend him as a server. The restaurant is clean, and offers a very pleasant atmosphere. Overall, an excellent dining experience and we will definitely return.

Had a great experience at Palenque Grill! The food was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our server, Cassandra, was amazing—super attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Excellent service and delicious food. Definitely coming back!

We recently went to Palenque Grill – Edinburg for the first time. We waited a bit for a waiter to serve us and i’m glad we did. Our waiter was Jose who was very friendly, attentive and came to check if we needed something. He took our order and even offered a different salsa if we liked spicier one. The food was savory and well seasoned. We got the pasta poblana with chicken and a tampiqueña plate. Jose was very understanding and when we mentioned it was our first time he said they offer desert if it was your first time. He told us the options and suggested the house favorite “tres leches”. We swore we were full however that was the BEST tres leches cake i’ve had. Jose was awesome and we are definitely returning. We really hope to see Jose again as our waiter.
