Very nice and welcoming place. Affordable in prices. I had the loaded stuffed pepper soup for starters, for my main course I had their cheeseburger sub which came with a side of fries and a can of Pennsylvania Dutch Birch Beer. It’s off of Route 92 going out to Harding but the location is still considered Exeter. My bill was $18.89. Recommended for you all to give it a try. I’m glad I did!

You Need To Know? Arrived around 5:45 & we were able to sit immediately. A quaint little place located along the Susquehanna River that offers your typical bar food. We ordered a Turkey club, mild chicken bites, appletree quesadilla, & a Buffalo chicken pizza. The pizza has a crispy crust, a sweet Buffalo sauce & lots of cheese. Do not order Xtra cheese, not necessary. The quesadilla was very dry even after dipping into salsa. The turkey club was huge & a handful to eat. Now You Know! -TBH

My future daughter in law’s shower was held at the Appletree House. The food was plentiful and delicious! The staff was awesome! From the minute I pulled into the parking lot, I was helped out and made to feel welcome! Michelle and Lauren went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly! Thanks for a beautiful Bridal shower! I highly recommend the Appletree House!

Little place serving diner-like dinner food. Burgers, pizza, etc and some dinner specials. The burgers and wings were really good. Fries were great! We got the chicken wing pizza at our server’s recommendation which was yummy – made us want to try some ‘regular’ pizza! But when we went back to try it, the regular pizza was just ok. Our server was very nice and attentive – she offered us a seat in their upstairs air conditioned area. One negative was that the prices on the menu were not correct – our server told us that the menu wasn’t accurate and that most things were like a dollar more than what was listed. This would make it hard for someone trying to stay on a budget since you don’t really know how much you are spending. Also – if you ask for water they give you bottled water. Which they apparently charge $2 a bottle or more for – we aren’t really sure because it wasn’t spelled out on our bill which was magically $10 more than we could figure out, even after adding money for the inaccurate menu.

1st time ever being there, saw that a friend reviewed it and gave it a good rating, so I decided to give it a try, I order a Mac attack burger and fries, my son order 12 buffalo wings and they were big and juicy, gf order a cheese burger and fries, it seemed like they were frozen burger patties and not fresh but they were still cooked to perfection and not dry or burnt or hard. I love Apple Tree!! I, admittedly, don’t get up there as much as I would like, but when I do, it is such a treat. Their chicken wing pizza is unlike any other in the area!! It is a must–try!! They also have a variety of foods on their menu, so you can always find a different food for every mood. The owners, Mike and Doreen, are some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. They make sure that you have a great experience from the time you step foot in the door until the time that you leave. You can tell that they really care about their customers and about their restaurant.
