The free lunches at my high school were better. It’s honestly pathetic, they brag that they used to be the best SUNY dining hall but clearly something changed. We’re paying over $3000 each semester for a mandatory meal plan. The food tastes like cardboard on a good day, they keep failing health inspections, the vegetables are always wilty and bruised, and more. We call it hairy Harrison because the servers rarely wear hair nets and on multiple occasions, hair is found in the food. Mold is also sometimes found in the food. My roommate is legally blind and can’t even check her food. It’s disgusting. At the very least, the non-student workers are usually very nice. Students have been getting food poisoning semi-regularly.
I have been vegetarian my whole life, they claim to have vegetarian options but it’s rarely true. They only have the wilted salad, half bad vegetables, and sometimes tofu. On the subject of tofu, I’ve had to talk to managers multiple times because it’s being cross contaminated with beef or chicken. I literally watched a student worker dump chicken into the tofu and then realize their mistake and pull it out but they still tried to serve me the contaminated tofu. Another time, I asked for tofu and was handed a plate of beef. It’s ridiculous.
On top of this, I get sick every time I eat there.
I could go on, but this at least mostly sums it up

Soups, salads, and pastas are always available for dinner. Pizzas, soups, and salads are available for breakfast and lunch. Sante station is always open with gluten free options, as well as a gluten free fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, and snack rack. Ice cream bar is open for dinner on Sundays and Thursdays (as of 12/2/2023). The menu changes every day, with fan favorites coming back more often. This semester they experimented with adding food from different cultures every month. The decorations were a nice touch this semester, it really upgraded the atmosphere.

Food all tastes like cardboard with no flavor. As a person with a gluten allergy all I could have was wilted salad and somehow still got sick from something that shouldn’t have had gluten anywhere near it. Overall a disgusting and horrible dining experience. BASC (Brockport Auxiliary Services Corporation) has no idea how to prepare or serve food. If you choose to go here, prepare to be hungry all the time because of the disgusting food.

To start off, the food here is awful there is absolutely no flavor and most of the time you don’t know if you’ll be eating actual edible food or get food poisoning. I wish that was an exaggeration.
Continuing on, they say they put their students first but in numerous occasions this has been proven to be false. I’m a vegetarian and have been for a little over 4 years and I can never find vegetarian options, I won’t forget to add that sometimes they mislabel food which has happened a number of times where a item with meat in it would be labeled as “vegetarian” or an item just doesn’t have it listed ar all, due to this I often have to ask if food items are vegetarian just so I can eat without getting sick.
There are barely any options for those who have a restricted diet which is quite hypocrital when they claim to always “put their students first”, I often just go to the salad bar because I’m never satisfied with the food options which is a bare selection for me either way. However what I will point out is that a couple weeks ago I found an ant in my salad and ended up needing to waste the entire plate of food. On the topic of the salad bar I will also like to add there have been a number of times the vegetables had gone bad, being this is a place that serves food to thousands of people you would think they would b on top of that.
That’s just from a customer’s perspective. I also worked here for 4 months, which I already spoke of on another review I left under the name “Tsakia”

I can’t believe this is dining hall food. The food is excellent and varied. After eating at other college’s and universities I can say this is the best college eating experience I’ve ever had.

Gross, they do not wash their vegetables ( you can taste it and an employee also told me), the annual cancer deaths is about 2500 for pesticide residue on food.
