The food was delicious. We had the Godfrey sushi, spicy tune sushi, and sliders. The sushi was surprisingly good. We didn’t expect to see it on the menu. We are big fans of sushi and I make my own at home so I can be picky sometimes. Would order again. Service was great, atmosphere was as expected- awesome. I’d say the only thing that was a letdown were the drinks. For the price you pay and the level of quality of the location, ambiance, and mall else- I really expected to be blown away by the cocktails. We just weren’t enjoying them to the degree we imagined.

Our experience was phenomenal and the staff/management were VERY supportive and accommodating. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday and decided to give Godfrey another chance. The servicer we had was VERY nice and kept checking on our table throughout our whole stay. My entree dish was missing chicken and she had a new one remade while also offering us free champagne for our whole group for the inconvenience. The food could have been a little bit better considering the price we paid but it was still edible. I ended up taking my entree home and when I asked for a plastic bag was told they “ ran out of bags” how does a well established restaurant in River North run out of basic necessities like plastic bags. I still would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone looking for a great place with great vibes and amazing views just remember to bring your own plastic bags if you plan on taking your food home.

We had reservations for Saturday night. I highly recommend having a reservations. Your reservation is confirmed downstairs before getting access. FYI, a deposit is required while booking the reservation.
The service was great, our waitress was super pleasant and she recommended a few of her favs from the menu. The vibe was very chill. There was no actual DJ but the playlist was decent. The views of the city skyline at night were beautiful. It definitely had a lounge feel. I just know brunch time is a good time.
We kept our food order light because it was late. I had the octopus and my friend ordered the tempura roll. We also ordered the truffle fries. Please keep in mind it’s a small menu (you can checkout the menu on their website). Everything we ordered was so good!
I would for sure return when I’m back in Chicago.

The entire experience was great from checking into our reservation on the rooftop to exit.
The hostess was inviting. Our server, Jennifer, was energetic, attentive, timely with her service. Additional wait staff were exception in there services as well. Bring out orders and collecting empty dinnerware.
The food was delicious, with amazing portion sizes. Ordered the Wagyu Beef Sliders, Steak Salad, Dragon Maki Roll, Avocado Toast Signature Black Truffle Fries, Mango Daquiri, and the Frose All Day.
The rooftop itself was beautiful. Nice crowd, perfect weather, and cool views. As a first time experience, my expectation were exceeded. I will be back.

I will start with the service, I felt that they had an attitude and wasn’t somewhat friendly. They never asked if we are there for any special occasion or anything.
The waitress was nice and kept asking if everything is fine.
The food was not good, for the price the taste was not what expected.
The atmosphere was fine not that rooftop that to expect its on the 4th floor the power cables were visible so don’t expect a lot. When we enter the floor the bathroom doors were open and even when we left they were still open which is not a pleasant sight to see in an expensive place.
You can use the parking garage next to the building and then use the elevator to the 4th floor to the bar.

We stopped in for drinks and appetizers, and everything was delicious. The views are stunning, the ambience is fantastic, and the atmosphere has a cool, upbeat, upscale vibe.
It was an extremely hot day in Chicago, but this rooftop was exactly where we needed to be.

This place is ultra classy with a wonderful clientele.The food is fantastic, the waitstaff is super professional and attentive, and the views and ambience can’t be beat! We reserved a table and were ordering drinks and food all night. We were also with a large group of people that had reserved 5+ tables. They then proceeded to to abruptly kick us out giving 5 minutes notice to close out to move 50+ across the hall to another space when they only had 2 no show reservations to fill our 5 tables, 50+ plus people. The lack of appropriate notice time and the moving of an entire group of people who were bringing a good vibes and continuing to spend money just to empty out the room for 2 no show reservations was a complete lack of customer service and a complete vibe kill to say the least

It was very nice and clean. The rooftop nice atmosphere for a group of ladies and date night place to go. I had a few people was was ahead of me at the front desk.i just knew I was going to wait awhile. However front desk team was very professional and quick. They also gave me all info I needed at check in. I had no need to call down or ask any other staff anything. All info was provided at check in. I will return.
