The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. We usually go to the two in Tulsa and love them and this one has been added to the list. We went on a Saturday evening and they had a guitar player with his son who also played. Very nice time.

I ordered what’s in the photo as a door dash pickup and it is not what I received. I received one chimichanga and thats all. It was under the a la carte tab. I did think it was too good to be true so I am not upset at all but just suggesting that it be changed to avoid future issues with less understanding folks. I love this place and will continue to dine here and just wanted to bring it to someone’s attention. 🙂

My daughter had a game in Owasso so we stopped in at El Tequila Cocina Mexicana for some dinner. I have never had a jalapeno margarita and they had one on the menu so I gave it a shot! WOW! One of the best Margs I’ve ever had! They give you 3 kinds of dips – salsa rojo, some kind of creamy ranch dip, and a green salsa that had a fruity sweetness. My wife and I ordered street tacos to share and we got chicken, barbacoa, carnitas, and al pastor. They were all delicious but the barbacoa stole the show! My daughter had a steak burrito she really enjoyed. I took one bite of rice because it looked good and it was. Service was attentive and kept everything moving. Absolutely no complaints. Great experience all around!

They won’t let you come in and order twenty minutes before they close. At every place I’ve ever worked we have always let people order. They said they closed their kitchen down. If you close the kitchen down then close the store! Close the kitchen at the time the store closes! I just got off work and have been waiting for this. I called four times and they never picked up, they hung up on me the first time I called. Bad service!!!

Food was served cold. Taste good, though. Just cold. Server didn’t really understand me. Limes were not ripe. Tortillas are not made fresh. Chips are too thick. Queso is not free like some other Mexican restaurants. My beer was not served as I like it…in a cold mug with margarita salt. Nice decor. Music was not too loud. Comfortable seating in booths.

Nice spot and spacious though food is missing seasoning. I was surpirsed that thr Michelada was not good since the vibe was 100% authentic. Hopefully it gets better.

I’m only rating 4 because I think it can be even better in person. My wife and I have ordered delivery 3 times now and every time is absolutely delicious. I’ve had the create your own nachos, create your own burrito and my wife has had the fajitas. The create your own burrito and nachos are such an amazing deal for how dense and stuffed of a product you get. Pictures are my create your own nachos with shrimp, flank steak rice charro beans cheese and then added separately was guacamole, salsa, shredded cheese and cilantro. It was so delicious. In Owasso this is hands down the best Mexican food you’ll get, all the other food surrounding or in Owasso that isn’t Tulsa Mexican food is either extremely unflavored, unauthentic or way too greasy. Can’t wait to visit in person!

EDIT: Spoke with two managers and both were extremely nice and apologetic about my experience! I think one of their names was David but I couldn’t get the ladies name, but they resolved the issue and reassured me on my worries. They both when above and beyond with their customer service and I really appreciate them fixing the mistake.
When we first walked in we walked for almost 5 minutes before we even saw a server come out. Once we got seated we ordered our food. While the food did come out fast, my order was a completely different order. Once I got my correct order, it was still wrong and missing items. My partners order was very under-seasoned and tasted like it was an old fajita mix and was served with only one small tortilla. Decided to leave after that (didn’t even eat 1/4 of our food and it ended up being $35) and when we went to pay, our waitress didn’t give back our debit card, so I had to chase her down and get it back so I’m kinda sketched out now. Won’t be back and I don’t recommend.
