It’s been a while since we had a breakfast meeting at Bob Evans. We were quickly greeted, seated, and drink & simple orders taken. Approximately 25 minutes after coffee delivered, still no food, refills, or explanation. Finally went to kitchen area to check on our orders. Approx 5 min later our food arrived. All 3 hash brown orders were as hard as hockey pucks. Cannot believe they were handed out from kitchen as they even looked really nasty. Asked server for replacements and she quickly brought more out. Decent location, but they need a manager or someone roaming for customer service. Parting issue: I went to register that was being used when we entered restaurant. Nobody at the other registers. Then several approached another register and I got stuck waiting longer because they opened a different register. Please use register closed signs.

I placed my ToGo and the Assistant Manager Matthew called me IMMEDIATELY to tell me all the tenders were sold out for the night! With the weather everything was delayed getting to them. Offered to make my kid whatever she wanted and was willing to scramble the eggs and make sure she still got her fries and drink! I appreciated the fast response and willingness to go above and beyond from him and the kitchen staff! The best part is we had everything down to the new sauce to try with my onion rings! I usually get breakfast here but the burger was amazing and the onion rings were crispy even for the ride home! Perfection from the kitchen. Thank you all again!

My husband and I took our two grandsons to dinner there on December 10. There was one female waitress working that was amazing with my grandson. She talked to him and even looked at his pictures with Santa while she waited on us. She made an extra effort to make my three-year-old grandson feel special. She was amazing. I wish I had gotten her name. The food was good also, but she made our visit extra special!

My husband and I normally don’t have an issue, however we usually come on the weekend. First issue was walking in and not being greeted whatsoever despite there being someone at the register, a server on the floor and two people rolling silverware. All looked up, none said a word. One of the servers stopped rolling silverware to clean a dirty table and went right back to rolling. After standing there for about 5 minutes without a word, we left. Coming from someone who has worked in restaurants for several years, all of this could have been avoided with a simple greeting. I’m a patient person when I know someone is busy but they very clearly cared more about leaving than getting a good tip. ♀️

I’ve been eating here for years! I don’t go often, but when I do they still remember me! It always feels warm and inviting at this location. The food is pretty good, too! I miss the waffles, but there are many other delicious options available on the menu.
