It’s a foggy warm Sunday and the claws was open and I fell into there trap…. For starters the calamari was hot and flavorful and the fried snapper and shrimp was delicious but the Bairdi crab was so good I see why Alaska fishermen love them. All this couldn’t be done without our sever ALO, she is smooth and knows the menu and can answer all your questions. She even hooked me up with a Togo drink without even asking. Now that’s good service. In all seriousness definitely swing by the Crab Trap and get Trap like I did!!! lol

I was really skeptical about this place BUT I was impressed by how delicious the crab was! The crab I had was from the waters of Alaska and Russia and if you think king crab is big then come on here and see their HUGE crab! that isn’t king crab! And is worth the price!!! The potato’s were cooked perfectly and the corn was sweet! I also had the shrimp and crab dip! It was full of flavor! The alcohol selection was great and Our waiter Phillip was so kind and was very very helpful answering any and all our questions! He was funny kind knowledgeable and was just making the atmosphere one to come back and visit! We will be coming back! Ask for Phillip! He will for sure take care of you!

We arrived and it looked empty but were told it would be a 30 minute wait, we didn’t make a reservation because it said “no reservations” online. We watched multiple parties come in and be seated which was strange but we still waited…after about 35 minutes we were seated at a table that had been open the entire time and immediately after that a party of 14 was seated which was double the size of our party. We started looking over the menu and noticed the menu online that we looked at while waiting didn’t match their physical menu and when we asked about it we were told they remove those specials due to the holiday specials.. so we decided to leave after seeing chicken strips priced at $25. I can’t rate the food because we didn’t eat here because of all of this but in my opinion it’s your typical tourist trap. We won’t be back but the views were pretty also wanted to add in case you have kids and saw the playground online that they didn’t have one at this location or I just couldn’t find it.

This is an amazing restaurant on one of Destin beaches. We had dinner on the deck in time to watch the sunset and it was beautiful. The atmosphere is light fun and electric. Our server, Jess was the sweetest and she took good care of us making great recommendations. We both got the blackened salmon with the cajun and rice and boy or boy, it was so good, to die for. This was overall an amazing experience and we will be back.

The gumbo was hot and delicious. The bronzed Cobia was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Appreciated getting cooked veggies and delicious rice for sides. Our server Nicole was efficient and friendly. Overall, a wonderful meal.

Sat right at the window so we could look out onto the Gulf. Waitress was so friendly and helpful. Food was perfect had the dip and peel and eat shrimp. For the size of the restaurant we had our drinks a food out quickly and it was easy to talk.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff’s greetings and acknowledgment are truly refreshing, making patrons feel welcome from the moment they arrive. My preferred entree is the shrimp and crab linguine, which I’ve had the pleasure of ordering on two separate occasions.

Shrimp and crab dip is pretty awesome. And had a pretty good pita bread to dip ratio. I had read other reviews bragging it up. We had a blackened cobia with the shrimp/crab topping and the couple crab cakes. Thomas/Tom served us and was knowledgeable about everything including some tasty beverages. And maybe he sold me on the cobia because it was getting ready to turn. I don’t know and I don’t care. I like that he had a solid opinion to offer. The meal was really good and I want to come back and try another couple menu items. Wish the weather had been nicer.

The crab trap for late lunch was the perfect decision. Beautiful ocean view. I got grilled shrimp and fries. We also got the bairdi crab dinner, it was my first time trying crab! It was good but definitely need more tools for the crab! Especially for THE crab trap. The view was amazing but keep in mind this is an open window situation (common) so there will be flies and even birds in the restaurant sometimes (we experienced both). Our server was so kind and attentive. Helped with any questions we had. Overall, good experience!
