I ordered a large pie with Cajun chicken. I used to love their Cajun shrimp pizza, which unfortunately is no longer on the menu, something I hope they consider bringing back. The pizza arrived in under 15 minutes, which was great. It looked exactly how I remembered it—thin, coal-fired, and generously portioned. However, the taste was slightly off from what I recall. The crust was slightly overcooked (not enough to send it back, though), and the Cajun chicken was too salty and lacked the spiciness I expected. It felt like something was missing, maybe a flavor or seasoning that made it more memorable in the past.
That said, the service remained top-notch: polite, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. I had three slices and had the rest packed to go. Prices have definitely gone up, like everywhere else these days, but still fair considering the portion and quality.
Overall, it was a pleasant return visit. While the flavor didn’t quite hit the same notes as before, the atmosphere, service, and quick turnaround make Grimaldi’s a solid spot for a casual pizza outing. A few tweaks to the toppings and seasoning would easily bump this to a 5-star experience
Ordered two pizzas over the phone. I asked for 1 18inch margarita pie and one 18inch regular pie with 1/2 pepperoni. Came out to $58 dollars. I received two margarita pies with half pepperoni on one. Both with extremely light sauce. I usually would expect some tomato sauce little chunks of tomato in the sauce. Nope. I called to complain and was met with Andrea their manager. Explained my dissatisfaction and was given no solution. If anything she just gave excuses and debated back with me. That their “regular pie” is a margarita and that they don’t serve Neapolitan pizza. I asked why the person on the phone didn’t clarify that for me when I asked for a margarita and a “regular pie”. She said that the woman was “brand new” and that they didn’t have the time to list off types of pizzas they offer and that they don’t even serve Neapolitan style pizza. Place was basically empty when I picked up the food. She asked me to email her photos and if there is light sauce that she’ll let the kitchen know of any mistake of measuring of the pizza sauce. I’ll admit I got nasty at the end only because I wasn’t offered a credit for a pie, wasn’t offered to remake the pie for me only until I mentioned her poor customer service. Did not enjoy my meal.
For those looking to enjoy a meal while catching a game, the bar area is a perfect spot to watch sports. The atmosphere is ideal for families, friends, or even a romantic dinner. It’s definitely a place you could visit for a special occasion, like a birthday or an evening out after an event.
The food selection is abundant. The Caesar salad comes with a side of dressing, though it’s so well-prepared that the dressing might not even be necessary. The personal pizzas offer a wide variety of toppings, all of which are flavorful and filling. My favorite was the olives. There’s no shortage of options to satisfy different tastes, and the pizzas are perfectly sized for one person.
While the food is great, one area for improvement is the bathroom situation. With a restaurant this size, having single-occupancy bathrooms can be a bit inconvenient, especially during busier times. It would be nice if there were more options available for convenience.
Also shout out to Mary, she’s a queen with customer service.

Whether you’re a longtime regular or a first-time visitor, one thing is certain: once you’ve experienced the magic of Grimaldi’s, you’ll keep coming back for more.
I gotta be honest, this was so close to a 5 star review except the crust could have been cooked about a minute longer. Good undercarriage but could have been great.
Don’t worry, I’ll still be back soon because it’s simply that good.
