Great spot if visiting Indy for the first time or for a celebration!! I have gone here with family and friends for a variety of occasions and celebrations. You come here for the view/experience then the food in that order.

This checks all the boxes for a nice restaurant, great service, a unique atmosphere, and delicious food! Personally, while it is expensive, I believe the food would be worth the cost even without the view so add the view to it and it’s the perfect place for a magical night out. The staff has always been extremely on top of their game from making you feel at home to helping you understand what you’re seeing off in the distance.

If you haven’t been you need to try it at least once!!

Ps Our server Anthony rocks!!

We had such a fun night here! The restaurant was super accommodating—they didn’t even mention that the prime rib had sold out, which was really nice of them. The food we ordered was absolutely delicious and more than enough to leave us satisfied. Drinks were perfectly done, and the customer service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Everything came together for a great evening. Next time, we’ll aim to get there a little earlier so we can try that prime rib, but even without it, everything we had was excellent. Between the tasty food, spot-on drinks, and great service, this is definitely a place we’ll be coming back to. A solid choice for a fun, casual, and satisfying meal!

Since I was staying at the hotel and I love a good rooftop experience, I went up to grab a night cap, maybe dessert, and see the rotating restaurant. I checked the reservation site throughout the day since my group was considering food options but we went to a different steakhouse. Still I wanted to give this one a try before flying out the next morning. Around 9:30, I decided to just go up there without making a reservation since there appeared to be availability. When I got off the elevator, the host asked if I had a reservation and I told him no.

He asked if I planned to eat a meal, I shared I was hoping to just grab a drink and maybe dessert.

He told me there was no bar up there and directed me to the bar downstairs .

I still requested to stay… so I could see the view. There were plenty of empty tables as well as people still eating in the restaurant. This man actually said I couldn’t sit at tables next to the window because people had reservations but I could sit at an inner table which still had a view but was closer to the kitchen, bathroom, and foot traffic than any window. The window seats were why people come to the restaurant!

I decided to accept his offer, ordered a cocktail that wasn’t great, and ended up walking around to see the view. My waitress was nice enough but the experience was already ruined. Picture is of one of the views I captured between a couple of the empty tables by the window.

Is a rotating restaurant a gimmick? Perhaps, but a very good one. The slowly changing view that goes for miles is quite enjoyable and I can’t imagine there is a better way to see the Indy skyline. Food drinks were all good, but nothing exceptional. Service was very attentive. (Pay attention to the designated elevator – not all elevator cars go to the restaurant. If there isn’t an ‘R’ button, you’re not in the right one.)

Outstanding service and absolutely delicious food! We tried a variety of appetizers and finished with dessert — everything was fantastic. Our server, Maya, truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed (she even offered to take our photo!). The view was breathtaking, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the entire evening was unforgettable.

I have lived in Indy for 3 years now but it took me until now to finally eat at The Eagle’s Nest. I’ve visited the Hyatt Regency a ton of times and have always wondered whether this place lived up to the hype. I finally after all this time managed to eat here.

Came on a Tuesday at around 7 PM and they weren’t that busy. Just an fyi, but they DO have a dress code (business attire basically) so plan accordingly. The views up top are incredible, combined with the fact the place rotates around and gives you 360 views of the city.

First off, I have to give HUGE props to our waiter Anthony. He was SO kind, attentive to our table, gave incredible menu suggestions, and made sure we were doing fine the whole time. Honestly, he was one of the best waiters I’ve seen in the industry so we tipped him very well.
We started out with the Shrimp Cargot and the Thick Nueske’s Bacon as appetizers. Both were unbelievable. The shrimp was great and the bacon was unreal. I then got a bowl of the seafood chowder which was fantastic.

Then as my main course, I got the Braised Short Ribs with Polenta. Overall, it was phenomenal all around. The ribs were juicy, flavorful, and the sauce was delish. The polenta was good and the carrots were good too.

Overall, Eagle’s Nest was way better than I imagined! If you’re in Downtown Indy or are staying at the Hyatt, get yourself a reservation here. Was so worth it! I’ll easily be back.

Lovely atmosphere and very good food, especially the seafood chowder. Also, they have mocktails for $8 which we didn’t know but enjoyed very much! The service was good as well.

First and foremost, finding the elevator that leads to the restaurant was a TASK. There is no signage to help. The food was decent, the banana toffee pudding was incredible and the best part of the meal. Service was okay and our server was very nice, but incrediblyyyyyy slow. The entire meal took 4 hours start to finish.
