A new favorite spot for us! Our waiter Miguel was so sweet and helpful. He took my mom’s food restrictions into consideration and our dishes came out hot fresh and correct. The frozen margarita and the food were so good btw ❤️! We will be back!

Moved to Atlanta in July. Been to and seen plenty of Mexican joints but they’ve always had a more polished or trendy vibe. Nothing wrong with that, continue to go. Foods always great but I’ve been missing the less curated, more lived-in energy, similar to family owned ones back where I’m from. So tonight I was intro’ed to this place.
Food. Was. Delicious. Got the pollo hacienda with creamy poblano sauce. So good. Sauce is mildly rich, but packed with a nice flavor. And when I say the shrimp were cooked perfectly, and seasoned perfectly. I ain’t lying. The tacos midtown! Whew. Fried chicken cutlets. Cooked perfectly. Moist and soft on the inside. Came out piping hot. Enchilada supreme, came out LOADED. Table salsa and chips were great and our server was also attentive but not in our face. A little delay on the check but we hit that place at the very beginning of the Friday dinner rush. He was getting it done with a smile. Enjoyed my visit. Will return.

Got a takeout order and found a BUG cooked INSIDE THE RICE. Seeing as the rice is used in many dishes there… I’m sure there are several INSECTS INSIDE THE FOOD. Disgusting. Apparently no quality control.

The salsa is good. They do make fresh guacamole at your table. Just make sure you do not eat too many chips. Chicken bowl was good. Pollo hacienda was average. Service was not that good, you have to wait longer. If you select outside sitting, be ready for dust and car noise since the patio is attached to the road and inside of restaurant it was noisy

This place was completely empty. The parking was bad. We left but couldn’t find another place. Went back, the place was still empty, everyone working was kind and we were still the only people there. The food was awful and cold and took a long time. The salsa tasted like tomato paste . We had 2 house margs, 2 lunch specials and a side taco and cheese dip and it was $70. If this is a franchise it needs new ownership and if not it needs to close it was by far disgusting.

Love this place! For those looking for authentic Mexican in Midtown, this is one of the only true options. The last time I was there multiple staff members had called out and one server was handling all the tables and it was a master class in service! Quality and speed didn’t suffer, it was truly amazing. I always have a great experience but that felt particularly worth praising!

IF YOU’RE BLK, AUTO GRATUITY ADDED TO YOUR BILL. this place is going to find themselves in a class action lawsuit if they don’t cut it out. Our checks had gratuity automatically added even though there was no notice about this. The restaurant policy is listed on the menu and nothing was mentioned about gratuity. Not only is it illegal to add charges to a person’s card without their consent, it’s also theft. This race-based practice was exposed about 6 years ago by a white patron and the manager publicly lied and said that it was a fluke. But here we are years later and they’re still doing this to black patrons.
anyway, other things to expect when dining here…this place is dirty. Our table had sticky stuff all over it and the chairs also had dried substances on it and crumbs. The bathroom was also pretty gross. Our server was accommodating and that’s the only reason I didn’t give this place 1 star. The food here is very bland. The chips they serve the table don’t have enough salt and they also have a weird onion aftertaste.

Great food! White queso good..salsa is better! Chips were warm fresh had great taste not dry and thick like other places. Steak tacos my son loved..lunch fajitas great deal .. very filling.. margarita was good too! Hubby had carne fries..he tries them at all the Mexican cuisine places we visit. He said we’re really good..they even brought him over extra steak said didn’t look like was enough meat n brought more! All good..wasn’t busy..good service..wish lived closer would frequent more. Food is def worth our drive though!
