Greenfield Restaurant and Bar is a great place for a special occasion. Every dish we had was fantastic. The short rib egg roll appetizer really caught our attention up front. And then the salmon and New York Strip were also so delicious. Fresh rolls and delicious cocktails (10/10 cinnamon mule) rounded out our delicious dinner. Our server Natalie was very attentive and friendly. We sat out on the patio, which was beautiful. Inside, they had an excellent pianist playing the entire time. We will definitely return in the future!

The food was wonderful, but it was pricey and the sides were a little a bit small, portion size. For the price you pay we would like a bigger portion. Great service, Kim our waitress was incredible and kind.

Stopped at The Greenfield for lunch after touring President Buchanan’s nearby “Wheatland” residence. The lunch menu is very nice and reasonably priced. There were plenty of soup, salad, and sandwich options and also a Quiche. Combo options include soup/salad, soup/Quiche, soup/sandwich, etc. for around $15 which seems reasonable for lunch. Parking is plentiful and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice. The service was excellent. I think the current overall Google review rating (4.3 at the time of this writing) is a little low after our recent experience.

The Greenfield Restaurant and Bar located in Lancaster, PA has an amazing history! The Owner and Head Chef was a chef in the Whitehouse during three Presidential terms! His culinary expertise is French and is delivered to the table with excellent flavors and flare! Check my provided photos and videos, to hear the assistant manager’s telling of the restaurant’s history, and a visual taste of the awesomely plated fare!

I had a baby shower here for my daughter and it was perfect. Darrah, the event coordinator, was extremely helpful and had wonderful suggestions. The food was excellent and the venue itself was just lovely. I couldn’t have been more pleased.

Just had a great meal. Enjoyed chatting with Brian about the history of the space and background of the restaurant, and had great service and drinks from Priscilla. Food was very good, too!

Did not like the atmosphere at all. It felt crowded and tight. And not my style. The vegetables were very bland. Chicken was decent and I prefer cheesesteak egg rolls more than braised rib

Our experience at Greenfield last night was not typical of the service we have come to expect from the restaurant. Upon entering, the host did warn of being short staffed. We were then seated right next to host stand. It felt like overflow seating. No tablecloth, table was not set, just a poinsettia on the table.
I expect a leisurely dinner at Greenfield but the wait for water and drinks was not good. I ordered a cesar salad and our waitress offered me ground pepper, said she would be back but never returned until our bread and entrees were served.
The food was up to its high standard so we did enjoy our entrees and we finished it off with the chocolate decadence which was a nice ending.
This dining experience was very unusual for Greenfield, but when they said they were short staffed we should have left.

Always have top notch service, professional yet attentive and amiable. Food never disappoints. Large shrimp for the appetizer. I had the beet salad that was fresh and delicious. The beautiful and yummy cassis sponge cake for dessert.
