Heard about this place on TikTok but I live in North County. Finally I was around the area and I was able to get here. Also this place is 24 hours which is great. There were some people there who it looked like came from partying, probably TJ. Anyways I got a Carne Asada Quesadilla for parents and I got Carne Asada Fries. The Carne Asada Fries were one of the heaviest I’ve ordered compared to other Mexican spots. As for the taste, it was really good. Nice mix of the guacamole and Cotija cheese. No complaints and great food!

Wow! Due to the portions, we ended up sharing Armandos breakfast burrito (10 out of 10), one huge al pastor taco (one taco the size of 3-4 Street tacos – and also delish), and 3 rolled tacos with cheese and Guacamole…cooked nice and crunchy with lots if cheese and Guacamole! Side of beans to try and also tasty! Jamaica was perfect – not too sweet. We are definitely coming back to this gem! Soooo good! And their prices are fair for the portions received. They do charge 3.99% for charging- suggest bringing cash. And no public restrooms.

Super California Burrito is very big, full of carne asada, fries, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. Super tasty and the price was right. Rolled tacos were excellent and stuffed with meat. Red and green salsas were great. The cashier was very friendly and confirmed your order up front – I appreciate that. Great job. Highly recommend Armando’s.

Been coming here for years. Always getting a burrito, it’s really good and sometimes okay. I guess depends on who’s in the kitchen. Still recommend tho. Location is kinda sketchy, a lot of homeless loitering outside but I still come here tho.

This little hole in the wall had one of the best burritos and steak fries I have ever had. I’ve tried a ton of Mexican food prior to my visit to Armando’s and I have to say that this was some of the most unique flavors for Mexican food. I’m definitely going back anytime I’m back in the area. Awesome food!!!

Food is typically delicious but today this lady and guy cooking just not feeling it. The phone kept ringing and both would just look at it and when it finally got answered the guy cooking “como chingan”. The phone gives y’all business, if it woulda been answered for me it woulda been great cuz I was in a rush. If y’all don’t want the phone to ring, either disconnect it or turn it off because some of us need it. These two this morning should not be in this industry dealing with people. As much as I used to like this place they just lost another customer.

The first spot we stopped at in our visit to San Diego. This is THE spot. It has everything you want, sketchy spot, 24hrs, 1 cook holding it down, DELICIOUS food and good prices. Portions amazing, flavorful meats. We loved it. If anything we ordered too much

Still one of the best places to get fast Mexican food in the IB area. Pollo Asado burritos are the bomb. So many taco shops open and close all the time but Armando’s still puts them all to shame‼️ …….

CA burritos were amazing. Carne Asada was seasoned very well, still juicy and tender. Great fries to meat ratio. Fries weren’t used as a filler to skimp out on the meat.
Parking is very very limited in the lot. Was easy enough to find street parking on the side street near the trolly station.

This is what you call a hole in the wall… and bad looking. The place looks in bad shape it needs some TLC in a hurry. But let me tell you that food is a different story, hans down one of the top 3 breakfast burritos I have had in my life (54 years in San Diego) Armandos breakfast burrito come with real potatoes and not french fries. I put it on a scale and came out to 21.8 onces that’s a good size burrito for under 10.00 dlls. The red sauce is ok but the green stock a standing ovation. I will definitely will go back and try other items in the menu.
