Amazing food! I have the pernil which was cooked to perfection. The ceviche was delicious and the arepas were fabulous, especially the beef. Chips and guac were ok but you don’t really go to eat that. We ordered the steak, shrimp pasta, pernil, chicken and rice, and a seafood plate with mussels. No one had a single bad thing to say about the food. The service, however, didn’t leave the same impression. It was lack luster in comparison to everything else. Overall, this is a must go for food, drinks and ambiance.

Another day of looking for deals on pulsd and I came across this location for taco Tuesday.

Upon entering the interior has a lovely esthetic and was pretty quiet with a huge tv which had sports playing at the time. Arrived around 6:30pm and managed to get seats right away,

Since it was AYCE and AYCD, we tried every drink which all was delicious. There was 5 taco choices, my favorite was the beef and the shrimp, least favorite the sweet potato. The food came out pretty quickly so there was almost no wait time. Definitely worth coming with an empty stomach.

Stopped here for happy hour while my kids were skating at domino park & I rather have sat in the cold than to have patronized this establishment.

The bartender was basically non existent from when I sat down. Had his back turned the entire time, mind you I’m the only one at the bar. I had to wave him down to place every order even pay my tab . He sat down at the opposite end of the bar, drank his slushy and never once asked if I needed anything.

An employee came over to pick up his check 2 seats from where I was and he proceeded to have a conversation and make plans for the weekend and even being in close proximity to me did not even ask if I needed anything, wanted another drink or even if I was good. And when I went to pay my tab I had to walk over to him. Oh but it gets “better” he lied about my bill total. Told me one price which I saw, then rounded it up. I’m not one to argue about loose change so I paid the final price he stated, but when I tell you, I’m seriously disgusted & disappointed by Blend. I did tell him on the way out about his lack of customer service skills /attentiveness, even express my feelings to the hostess at the main entrance. They at least offered an apology. He literally stared at me like I was speaking an alien language and didn’t speak a word. People have warned me, but sometimes you have to see for yourself and now I know.

Food was delicious but the service left a sour taste in our mouths. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, the server took ages to check up on us. We requested to switch out the rice and beans for a side of fries, since all 3 of our plates came with rice and beans, and she said this was not possible and that we would have to order it as a separate side. The cocktails were good and the guacamole was great, but we somehow ended up with very few chips and had half the guac left over. The decor and ambiance is less aesthetic than the LIC location; the Williamsburg Blend feels like a sad imitation. Definitely go to Blend on the Water for a nicer experience overall.

I had an incredible experience at Blend in Williamsburg thanks to Mr. Andrés. From the moment I walked in, his attention was exceptional, making me feel welcomed and valued. He crafted a personalized cocktail that exceeded all my expectations; his creativity and skill in mixology are truly remarkable. Without a doubt, it was the best service I’ve ever received at a bar. I highly recommend visiting Blend and asking Andrés to make you something special. You won’t be disappointed!

Dear Blend Williamsburg,

I am writing to share both praise and serious concerns about my visit to your Downtown location on March 3rd. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated by a lovely hostess, and the ambiance was beautiful. Unfortunately, from that point forward, the service was far below expectations.

Our server, Jonathan, did not introduce himself, nor did he inform us of specials or promotions. We ordered coconut and passionfruit mojitos and two shots of Don Julio, but he failed to specify the type of tequila. Additionally, my request for still water with lime was ignored, and he brought nothing but sparkling water despite my repeated requests.

When it came time to order, the options we wanted were no longer available, and we were not informed of any menu changes. While the food was outstanding—my partner and I cleared every plate—the lack of attentiveness from Jonathan was glaring. He never checked in to see if we needed anything else, despite the missing silverware at the table and the delay in bringing the bill.

To make matters worse, when we received the check, the gratuity was automatically included. Jonathan falsely claimed that it was mandatory. After I insisted, the manager removed it, but the initial dishonesty was appalling.

While the food and ambiance were top-notch, the service from Jonathan and the management response were unacceptable. I hope you take swift action to ensure this does not happen again. As a frequent customer, I expect far better.

Sincerely,
Douglas Carter III

I had a fantastic time at Blend with two of my friends. This was the perfect spot for our group to catch up.
The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. A huge shoutout to our host, Sergio, who made the experience even better. He was incredibly welcoming, professional, and made sure we were well taken care of.

I originally was planning for a large dinner event & was in communication with Savannah, she shared all information needed & answered in a timely manner. Unfortunately due to unfortunate circumstances I wasn’t able to have a large dinner anymore. However I was still invited for a birthday dinner & I enjoyed every second from the moment I walked it. It’s beautiful, a very photogenic space & the food is even better. There was exceptional customer service all around. Would 100% be returning. Thank you so much for making my day feel special despite my loss ❤️ I added pictures of the coconut mojito, the Bandera blend with skirt steak ( the rice is under the egg) & the complimentary shot of coquito!

We have been going to Blend for a while as a place to celebrate birthdays etc. But when we made reservations this time we were told it was under new management and we were very skeptical. The place looks the same so no changes there, we wanted to sit on the roof but we’re told there was a leak so we had to sit in doors which was what it was. The service was great, the waiters were taking away plates and glasses before we were even done with them and they were quick to respond to our request. The new manager Fabian was very attentive, he was walking the floor checking to make sure things were OK. And our waitress Estefania was very pleasant and was also attentive. The only issue i had was the food itself, some of the menu items simply did not taste the same and it wasn’t an improvement. The mushroom pizza and the coconut rice which we all loved was off. The drinks however were great, still strong. Happy hour drinks are no longer served at the table, you must be at the bar, which was a bummer and you might have to pay for services such as the cake platters and the sign they bring out. I do place orders to go and I noticed that the quantity of food in the take out container was definitely alot less than what u get in house even though its the same price, my hubby was not pleased.
