Crab Hut was founded in 2007 by a family that loves food and beer, with one purpose to bring San Diego some good ole’ Southern sass and flavor. Our goal is to redefine the eating out experience and engaging the guest with hands-on food, while keeping it fresh with products grown and raised locally here in San Diego.

I haven’t been to Crab Hut for a while but the taste is still amazing! Andy was great – friendly and although it was pretty busy (Valentines Day), he was on top of it. Made sure we had what we needed and kept a great attitude through the rush. Highly recommend trying it out. You can’t go wrong with the Crab bucket, garlic and old bay is an outstanding combo.

If you haven’t tried the chicken pho yet, you must try it! Look at that broth.. it’s so clear and sooooooo delicious. It comes with a noodles, vegetables, and cut up chicken!! It’s so good!! Customer service is also excellent!

I had a great experience at Grab Hut. The food was really good and everything tasted fresh. The service was also great—staff were friendly, quick, and made sure everything was taken care of. Overall a really good spot to grab a bite. I’d definitely recommend it and would come back again. Mai was our server.

My friend took me here for their happy hour special. We sat in the bar area and had a very nice waiter. I ordered a glass of merlot and it was not very good. I ended up having a blood orange lager that was delicious after.
The restaurant was not busy on a weeknight so it was relatively quiet. We had the popcorn shrimp, crab poppers, and sausage sliders. We like the popcorn shrimps but will skip the sliders next time.
We ordered the Bucket for One combo and the SNS (Snow Crab and Shrimp) bucket. Both were perfect for 1-2 people. I really like the huge amount of garlic and all the flavors in the sauces. So yummy!
We also ordered the jambalaya. It was a huge proportion and we only ate about ⅓ of it. It’ll be perfect for lunch the next day.

We ate here for lunch today and had such excellent service from our server, Mai! She was so friendly, informative and was very attentive! The food was also pretty. We don’t come here often but will be back again!

Came here on weekday and there was a good amount of people. I was quickly seated. Jen was my server and she was the BEST! Super nice and attentive! The seafood was PHENOMENAL!! Definitely will be back for the food/service.
