Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

If you go to this location I advise you to go through the drive thru. The wait in the lobby is 15 – 30 min. There are a lot of Uber orders and the drive thru gets priority. It’s no fault of the employees who were very polite, friendly and professional. They are just overwhelmed with the amount of customers. The food was as good as any other Whataburger location.

Only one cash register open at noon???
Guess they were short staffed but the line was out the door to order . Took about 15 minutes to get to order. The inside was not very crowded but was pretty dirty, tables, floor, and area were you fill your drink. Ordered a number three bun less. Took another 15 minutes for my order to be ready. Not a good thing when you are on lunch break. My order was correct so that’s a plus. Food was good and manager was walking the dining room area checking on customers.
Overall not bad except the wait.
Back a few months later and they got my order wrong. See photo, ordered 4 meat patties with 4 cheese slices. Came out with only one cheese. So minus one star ⭐️ down . Otherwise it’s a pretty standard Whataburger.

Today i waited in drive-thur 16mins, smdh. And they still didn’t get all my order, so I had to park and go inside. This location has to be one of the worst. Every time I go here the wait is long. I only keep coming back because its close and my father gets grill cheese every single visit. The wait is either long, the coffee isn’t always hot and they miss item in my bag. They need new management.

Look…. I drive out of my way past two whataburgera from work and home to get the food from this one. They just put some love into it over here. They put the other ones to shame the food is just better here…. They also have car meets in the parking lot, super friendly. Best location

I was given a raw spicy chicken sandwich. I believe it was done maliciously and intentionally by manager Ana and the drive thru person who were rude and unpleasant. We waited suspiciously long for our food. DO NOT EAT HERE – plenty of food stores in the area vs. this one.

Immediately greeted and had my order taken/ severed within seconds! (No exaggeration, was served to me as I was about to sit down.) Service was absolutely great! Had the pleasure of both Alvaro (server) and Natalie (GM) making sure my meal/visit was met to my expectations. Let’s just say they were far exceeded! Newly opened (March 25, 2019) and my first great experience here has me waiting excited for my next. Proud Whataburger customer!
