Hurricane Cafe has a fun old-school diner vibe that feels laid-back and nostalgic. Prices are much cheaper than most places, which is a big win. I had a burrito—it didn’t have a ton of flavor, but it was still good overall and filling. Our waitress was very kind and attentive, which made the experience better. Overall, a solid spot for a casual, affordable meal.

For an Old Greasy Spoon, it’s always been a replacement to stop to eat. The employees are always friendly and the food is also tasty.
I love their fish and chips.

Ordered a hamburger steak and eggs. The hamburger steak was the size of a little kids burger. The red chili needs salt and garlic.

I have been goin to Hurricane’s since I was 8 years old, and now skip ahead 27 years, the amazing food and atmosphere was just as good as always.

I ordered the Breakfast Disaster Burrito(full size) and would recommend it every time.
Carne asada, beans, egg, and cheese smothered in Chile potatoes and cheese.

The oldies atmosphere is always welcoming and feel so much more authentic then any of these new places that try to compare.

Exactly what I pictured and was wanting. Stacy was sweet attentive and quick. She had good recommendations and knew all the ingredients in the dishes we had questions about. Perfect old school diner food.

Stopped in Hurricane’s Cafe for breakfast. It’s was pretty good. Kinda gives a 50’s dinner vibe. I ended up having a seat at the diner bar.
I ordered the chicken fried steak which comes with eggs, hash browns and toast. Very good and enjoyed my breakfast.

A great 50’s style cafe with outstanding food. The “disaster” burrito is excellent and makes for a great shared meal. They also do great NM green Chile cheeseburgers and breakfast foods. My personal favorite is their Belgian waffles with strawberry and whipped cream.

The service is always friendly and professional. Definitely worth eating here when you’re in ABQ.

No frills cafe that is reasonably priced, and provides a decent meal. An Albuquerque classic cafe, has the decor of a Route 66 cafe of old. Friendly staff who serve their customers with care, understanding. Definitely coming back as a regular here!

Food was delicious and the price is amazing. I had the disaster burrito. Follow the size reference because it’s pretty accurate. The service….not so much. Our server came twice. Once to give our water and take order and second to drop off the food. We were done and waited for out checks. Made eye contact with him several times to get the check but he continued to ignore me. Finally just walked up to the cashier counter and had to ask for the check to pay. He continued to avoid me like he owed me money or something. Overall, I would definitely come back.
