We dined in on a Sunday night with our church youth group. The food and service was excellent! The ice cream was extraordinary delicious!! Will definitely be going again!! I’d love to see them add the cherry dip for the ice cream cones though, they currently only have chocolate and butterscotch.

Really crappy drive thru today. I ordered a grilled cheese and soup combo, with a drink.. the bag broke in my hands as they gave it to me.. as I drove off, I noticed no straw to drink the drink, so I had to pull over and go inside anyway for a straw.. then drive off, and attempted to get my sandwich out, which literally fell put if my bag and into my lap.. only for me to notice that the grilled cheese with pickles I ordered had no pickles.. total fail today. Do better, and PAY ATTENTION Next time!

Update: my wife and I made another trip to Lenoir, NC today and stopped by Dari-O for lunch. I got the Monster Burger combination, my wife got the Grilled Chicken sandwich combo. Both meals were delicious and the service was excellent…no complaints!!!! ,

The overall feel of this place is awesome. It feels like you’re at a community driven eatery. They have plenty of televisions so missing that big game is something you won’t be doing whilst there! The food was amazing as well. The order accuracy was on point and the customer service was immaculate. Nice friendly smiles and big bellies are being served up as long as the doors are open. Super family friendly place. Although it has a bigger dinning area you still feel connected with the people that you came to eat and fellowship with. Oh! The sweet potatoes fries are smashing! A must have for any food junkies palet!

Second update – second time we’ve been through the drive thru in a month and they got the order wrong and left items out. With as many people working in the drive thru it’s hard to understand why they can’t check the bag before handing it over especially when your order is small.
Updated: service is slow no matter when you go or whether or not you dine in or go through the drive thru. Ate there last night for dine in but instead of serving food on trays everything was placed in a to go bag. Food was still good. It took 25 minutes to get sandwiches, fries and salads though and no one else was in ordering or in line and only a few cars in the drive through line. June 2023
Wide variety of salads, sandwiches, shakes & more! And oh yes hot dogs! Food is fixed fresh. Everything tasted good. The inside is sparkling clean. A very nice place to eat.

Dairi-O was very clean from the parking lot to the entire interior. There was no trash to be seen anywhere and it seemed that there was always a member of the staff cleaning somewhere. I didn’t see any food wrappers melted ice-cream, or gum on tables etc. Also it appeared that all of the staff members were wearing professional looking black gloves which was a nice addition.
The restaurant was busy but the line moved quickly and after ordering the food was prepared and put out quickly, I doubt we waited more than three minutes after placing our order. The food was fresh and hot, hot enough we had to let it cool down a little before we could eat. I was pleasantly surprised how great my burger tasted. The burger itself was very flavorful; however, the produce on my sandwich was absolutely excellent. The French fries were crinkle cut and also pretty good.
They have a really good ice cream selection with a ton of options. I personally recommend the cheerwine or root beer floats because they are excellent.
