Has a cozy vibe that I love. The French onion soup is great, especially if you like bread – it comes with a huge piece on top. The bar is a good spot to watch games.

We had an incredible lunch at Jack’s London Grill in St. Pete! The three of us started with the Scotch egg and the Shepherd’s fries — both were unbelievably good and set the tone for the meal. For mains, we had two fish & chips lunches with coleslaw (perfectly crisp and flavorful) and a basket of beer-battered shrimp that was spot-on. Drinks were a refreshing sangria, a cider, and a smooth Sam Smith organic lager — all paired beautifully with the food. We couldn’t resist finishing with the chocolate mousse dessert, and wow… it was the perfect ending. Fantastic food, great drinks, and a warm atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

The fish n chips were good. Lunch portion was just 1 piece of fish. Prices were good. Chicken strips were very mid. Fun atmosphere

Great pub with fresh food and lots of options, seafood, steak, vegetarian. I’ve had the fish and chips, bangers and mash, chicken and Brie pie and seafood pie. The fish and chips and seafood pie were my favorites. Everything is seasoned well but not too salty. The mixed veggie and fries sides are so good. Our kids love it too. Beer on tap is great. Love this place!

Very friendly place with great English feel. Loved the mashed potatoes and Seafood pie. Wife loved the French onion soup and son liked his tenders and fries too. Definitely a good place to go and revisit. Did revisit and loved it again. Had great broiled haddock, loves the shepherds fries, brother loved his corn beef sandwich, and wife loved her yellow curry. The desserts and bread there are phenomenal!

Great food, very attentive staff. Place looks awesome. Fish and chips were great as was the Scotch egg.

Giving Jack’s 5 stars for atmosphere may seem quirky, but, if what looks and feels like an old pizza franchise location can be called “authentic village pub,” this fits. Bare bones, worn, not really comfortable–but suitably homey–from the clever (but torn) wrap on the restroom door that make it appear to be a classic English Phone Booth to the much loved and tattered British paraphernalia, I say, take a modern culture escape break and go for lunch or dinner. Have a Guiness. Call out hellos to strangers who wander in. Enjoy the smaller luncheon portion of the delicious Shepherds’ Pie served up in an onion soup crock and the side of perfectly sauteed root vegetables brightened by seasoning and spinach. Or go for the dinner portion, not so picturesque in its disposable foil baking pan. Of note: the Shepherd’s Pie is prepared with a blend of both ground beef and ground lamb, resulting in an unctuous and flavorful combination. You will feel the warm hug. The staff is small. The service efficient. And when the server has a moment to pause during his hustle-about busyness and smile genuinely at a sincere thank you or “it was delicious” comment, you get down to the soul of the place. They are here to serve and comfort and, in typical English fashion, please you in the most understated way possible. And the fish and chips? Superb.

How I’ve not been here before when I work down the street! Definitely will be back. The fish’n’chips were just like the ones I had my first time ever visiting The UK. The memories. The coleslaw was excellent as well, and the French onion soup *chef’s kiss. Tried a bite of my partners shepherd’s pie and the flavor was amazing.

Quite possibly the best shepherds pie in the area. It was seasoned to perfection. Matched with some ice cold beers on tap and you have a perfect meal. Don’t miss out on the Scottish eggs either!

The Sheppard’s pie had great flavor and was very filling, it came with a side of vegetable medley that had a great flavor as well. I hardly saved room for dessert and asked for something relatively small, I have never had Crème Brûlée before so I have nothing to compare it to but it had good flavor, I likely wouldn’t try that dessert again but that’s more personal preference and nothing against the establishment, if I came with more of an appetite I would’ve tried their Apple Crumble.
Indoor & Outdoor Seating as well as a full bar, very nice British aesthetic/ decor throughout the whole restaurant. Friendly wait staff, a member of the kitchen brought out my dessert and was also incredibly friendly as well.
