Visited Yank Sing at Rincon Center today and waited about 25 minutes, but the line moved steadily and was well organized.
They use a phone number waitlist system and send a text message when your table is ready, so even though there was a wait, everything was clearly managed and stress-free.
The dim sum was better than I expected — fresh, well-seasoned, and consistently good across dishes.
The steamed pork ribs were especially delicious and stood out the most.
Despite how busy it was, the staff remained polite, professional, and efficient, which made the overall experience very pleasant.
Parking was also very convenient — validated parking is available, and we received free parking with the receipt, which was a nice bonus in downtown San Francisco.
If you don’t mind a short wait, this is a solid and reliable spot for quality dim sum.

Nice beginner choice for Dim Sum/Morning Tea .
The cuisine choices are relatively limited compared to conventional dim sum places, and the servers didn’t pay much attention to each table so they kept recommending plates we’ve already ordered from the cart lol.

Yank Sing is my favorite spot in the city for dumplings. Must try – snap pea dumplings and orange jelly. Their chilli sauce is also unique
-1 star only because long wait times without reservation and you sit outside in the empty mall – not so fun after 45 minutes of wait

The dim sum here is incredible! The experience of having the food brought to you on a cart is so enjoyable, and the dishes are all delicious. It’s a great way to try a bunch of different items and there is no wait time!

Stopped by for dim sum. Service was good and food came quickly. kuo tie and xiaolongbao were tasty, siu mai was average, and char siu bun was good but a bit skimpy on filling, i like The chili on table was nice. Overall decent, but for the price vs value could be better.

Slow service and overpriced dim sum. Had better dim sum experience at Harborview. They have the push carts here but they skipped some tables. Asked for utensils and the waiter forgot so we had to ask another waiter so then proceeded to do other tasks with the utensils in his hand instead of just dropping them off at our table first.

Two of us ordered 9 dishes as we were a little excited. A little too much than our stomach can take. All dishes are great and better than most dim sum places in the south bay. Among the 9 dishes, we like dumplings, sesame balls, and bean curd roll a lot. Sesame balls are a little expensive at $15, but they are the best I have had so far (I like dessert a lot). The place is comfy, the dim sum carts are all around you. The jasmine tea uses true high quality tea leaves that is one of the best in Chinese restaurants I have been to. This place has been on the Michelin list twice (2016 and 2021). They deserve it.

It is rare to find cart service dimsum these days. Yank Sing met our expectations and more. The selections are typical but with a twist. We had one of everything. A variety of dumplings, one better than the next Soup dumpling, curry dumpling, mushroom and chicken dumpling. High quality food. However, prices are much higher than normal and servings are less.

A very large restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and authentic Cantonese dim sum in a high class format. Excellent range of dishes on offer, including five types of vegan dumplings and several other vegan dishes among their omnivore menu. Open even on Christmas Day. But you need to book early, don’t depend on walking in, and don’t expect them to be open in the evening, I think the cutoff is around mid-afternoon

Servers walk around pushing karts continually offering tables different dumplings and other items. Everything was authentic and amazing.
