Had a great meal at Petrini’s! The house salad, minestrone, garlic bread, lasagna, and chicken parm were all super tasty, and the portions were huge for the price. Loved the strawberry lemonade and the chocolate cake, too.
Service was awesome — the kitchen nailed everything, and our servers (the guy in the red hat and the lady with the cute blonde bob) were really sweet and attentive. Definitely recommend!

My wife found this nice restaurant on Open Table. We wanted to eat in Little Italy and this was a great choice. They accommodated well for our kids a d grandkids. The food was very flavourful. You should give this place a try.

excellent food and good service. It is small, cozy, and romantic. I had the tortellini Alfredo, it was al dente with a rich sauce and delicious garlic bread, would definitely return

This place was more available on a Saturday night around 7pm compared to other Italian places in Little Italy. There was no wait time and we didn’t make reservations. The service was very friendly. The ambiance felt a little fancy with excellent musical choices like Frank Sinatra. Great for a date. Other reviews said their dishes were served extremely hot and yes indeed they were. My girlfriend almost burned her tongue. Be careful with your dishes when they’re first served!! We loved our food choices. I found the Pasta w/ mushrooms in olive oil to be a little dry. It tasted excellent when I added some of the tomato soup from my girlfriend’s Gnocchi order to it.
Pasta with mushrooms in olive oil: 4/5
Minestrone soup: 4.5/5
Gnocchi w/ tomato soup: 5/5
Raspberry lemon prosecco: 4.5/5
Garlic bread: 4/5 (came out a lil burnt)

This place was absolutely amazing! I’m so glad that I found it. I was visiting from out of town and I found this place by chance. I wasn’t too hungry, so I just got a pizza. But I was absolutely delighted by the wonderful service and the friendly vibe. The next time I’m in San Diego, I’m definitely coming back here. The pizza was absolutely delicious. I had to go to work the next day, so I didn’t get a drink. But if I could have, I would have. Because the cocktails looked fantastic. I highly recommend this place if you want to kick back in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy some good food. 11/10.

Very delicious food, loved the Veal Parmesan with Pasta and Veal Piccata with Pasta, they tasted amazing and had huge portions. Shrimp Scampi was the cheapest thing we ordered and so it made sense that its portions were a little small. We also got a two-topping large pizza, salami and mushrooms, and it was AMAZING. But also keep in mind that the pizza takes the longest so if you want shorter wait times, get a smaller pasta. It’s a really small restaurant and there was only one waiter managing everything at one point so we had to wait for a bit, but this was also during lunch. Waiter was super friendly and nice.

We visited San Diego during the 4th of July weekend and decided to try out an Italian place near the hotel. Very happy my brother chose this place the atmosphere was very cozy, service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out delicious and was not delayed. This restaurant is worth more than the star rating it has. Definitely recommend you come here to try the food if you enjoy a cozy and quaint place.

Creamy, savory Italian sausage and tortellini pasta. The grilled garlic bread was the perfect pairing to scoop up the rich sauce. A truly satisfying and delicious meal!
