This place is a Green Bay Area staple. Family owned for generations and my family has been eating here for generations. It’s a bar, restaurant, super club, and a banquet hall all in one. Great fish, broasted chicken, and all kinds of other things. And located right on the East River Trail it’s a great bike destination. Even if it’s just for a drink.

The Rite Place is a true Green Bay classic. Every visit feels like coming home.

The broasted chicken is hands down the best fried chicken in town perfectly crispy on the outside and incredibly juicy on the inside. It’s one of those dishes you keep craving long after the meal is over.

What makes this place even more special is the atmosphere. It’s always been a go-to spot for my family when relatives are visiting from out of town. There’s something about the warm, welcoming supper club vibe that makes it the perfect place to sit down, relax, and catch up with family.

If you’re looking for classic Wisconsin comfort food and a place that feels like part of the community, The Rite Place never disappoints.

The Rite Place is an awesome place!!! The old-fashioned drinks are really tasty!! The food is also very good and also affordable. The chicken booyah and the gravy are gluten-free!! Great options for people with those needs!! Our waitress that served us tonight was the best darn waitress that we had in a long time!!! She very attentive and quick!!! I don’t know her name, though :/
Overall, an excellent choice for supper!!!

This is one of Green Bay’s gems. We went there on a busy Friday night for a perch dinner. The service was speedy, efficient, and friendly. The food was great and the Old Fashions were very good. It was a very good dinner at a place that knows how to take care of it’s customer’s!

My mom and I ordered the tenderloin steak sandwich. One sandwiche had very tough meat. We told our waiter, who was very nice, about it and my mom a new sandwiche. Still tough meat. Basically for $16.99 all we got we a small sandwich with tough meat. Very disappointing. Nothing else comes with the sandwich. No fries..nothing. no sauce..nothing. They need to do better.

I was here 13 years ago.. came back hoping it would be better, no such luck!
The food is not good. Boring bar food with zero taste and creativity. It’s not good. The service was ok but not great.
How does a place with such lousy service and food stay in business so long?

You are probably reading this review to see if you’d like this place.
You WILL, just go there and see.
This place has been here for a long time and is family owned and it shows in the overall experience. Great food – pick anything and you’ll be smiling and satisfied. Great people are employed there and there’s plenty of places to sit with a group of any size.
I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s hungry and wants to eat a meal that makes them happy.

Went to an early dinner on Sunday ( glad we did because it was getting busy as we were leaving). Most got the broasted chicken. Very happy with the food. Good value for the amount of tasty food. Good cocktails and beer menu. Service was good but a little spotty at times. TVs were all playing the NCAA tournament. I liked it but it was a little loud for others in the group. All in all very happy with the visit. I would love to check out their fish fry sometime.
