When I get a hankering for Polish food, Sabina’s is my go-to choice. Not surprisingly, the place was packed on my recent visit, which was at 4 p.m. on a weekday afternoon. The cucumber salad and dill pickle soup were demolished before we thought of taking pics, but we did manage shots of the City Chicken, Hungarian Pancakes, and the potato cheddar pierogi with bacon crumbles – all were outstanding. Courtney was our server and she was quick and very pleasant. There’s so much more on the menu we didn’t get to, but if you leave Sabina’s hungry, it’s your owm fault!

Had Sabinas for the first time tonight and what a treat! I can’t believe I never knew this little gem was here all these years. Ordered carryout and got a little of everything. So so good. Especially enjoyed the meatballs and city chicken. Bf faves were potato pancakes and beet soup. Not one note on any of the food. He restaurant was really busy while I was there right around 6pm. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back soon 🙂

Delicious home-cooked Polish dishes and family style serving. We were served by a few different people asking us if we had everything we needed. I felt like I was at grandma’s house. Delish food, great prices, and American-home style restaurant.

I have been eating here for years and there isn’t another place like it in the Detroit area. Everything is homemade and delicious and the prices are great. Service is great. 5 Stars!

We were recommended to come here by a few people and we’re so glad we finally visited. Sabina’s is a cozy little Polish restaurant with the best pirogies and cabbage rolls you can find. Even my boys loved it!! And the cheesecake was outstanding! Flavours were perfect and everything was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back!

Very good experience with this place. Great food for a great price.

I remember coming here as a kid and always thought the food was kind of bland. But when I came in here a few weeks ago, the food was very flavorful

I ordered the stuffed cabbage and city chicken with a side of sour kraut and mashed potatoes. It tasted fresh and homemade. I also had some dill pickle soup which was quite good.

While I don’t usually get dessert while dining out, I ordered 3 crepes of each flavor and they were delicious.

They have a variety of daily specials. Every meal and side is also very reasonably priced.

The atmosphere is kind of a diner vibe and can feel very crowded at times.

Keep in mind that this place is a family restaurant and does not serve alcohol.

Overall, this place has a variety of polish food and is all very reasonably priced

I love the food here, the friendly atmosphere and the service is amazing, it’s a small building but still cozy. I’ve been here 3 times and I’m looking forward to the “Fish Friday” visit. I’m a single guy, never married, so I cook for myself usually.
As a man, I love a good home cooked meal while I’m out running errands. ☆☆☆☆☆

Sabina’s never misses! We stopped in recently and, as usual, it was bustling. We ordered a spread of City Chicken, Hungarian Pancakes, and pierogi topped with bacon crumbles—everything was 10/10. Special thanks to Courtney for the excellent, fast service despite how busy it was. Pro-tip: Do not skip the dill pickle soup! It’s the best around. It’s a huge menu with so much to explore, but you’ll definitely leave full and happy.
