Good alternative to Chipotle if you’re looking to support a local company. Vegan and vegetarian options available.
I ordered the vegan chorizo bowl with rice, guac, black beans, and a myriad of salsas. One thing that immediately jumps out at you on the menu and while ordering inside is the large selection of salsas and sauces they have available. Far beyond anything you’ll find at a Chipotle. Also, the staff seem very friendly and nice, which is also something you rarely find at a Chipotle.
I’d gladly go back and order the same food again. Although there was nothing wrong with the food I was served I just wasn’t personally blown away by it. Given the number of rave reviews I’d chalk it up to maybe a bad day for the restaurant.

AMAZING FOOD. Fresh REAL FOOD. Not gonna bite into bone like you do at chipotle and way bigger portions and people are so nice. All the people who aren’t leaving 5 stars are Karen’s who will probably never be happy with anything. Also my bowl was 12$ after tax.

Went there as it’s near my hotel. Wasn’t sure what to expect, and found out it’s an order, pay and grab your own seat type of spot.
I had the cow tongue bowl. Very tasty. Big portion. Service was fast. Free parking at the location.
For the tasty food, and large portion, it’s great value for money.
They play nice Spanish music there and the staff is friendly enough.

Ordered the buy one get one deal they had on Uber Eats and picked it up almost as soon as it was ready for pickup as my job is 5 minutes from the location. 5 minutes later I’m eating the first bowl in the car as I was on my lunch break and despite paying an extra dollar for fajita, all I see and taste are crunchy fresh red onion and green bell pepper. They were not softened in the least and both bowls were cold as ice which I couldn’t understand as my food from the Lakewood location has stayed hot during the 15 minute trip home. I go back to the store instead of waiting for the end of my work day and the female worker said that their fajita doesn’t get soft until an hour of it sitting in a pan at the cooking station. This location only uses red onion and green pepper which is fine but why did it taste as if I was biting into a whole onion with each bite? Why was my food cold as if it was another order that was sitting in a cooler and then sold to me trying to save food waste? The female worker dug all through the second bowl and questioned if I ate it immediately or waited and that’s why it was cold smh I was 5 minutes down the street on lunch and whether I ate it in their parking lot or my job’s, the food was ice cold and contained none of the sauces I asked for, hot red salsa or avocado lime ranch, nor my sour cream. Terrible food and even worse customer service.

This is one of my favorite spots to get lunch or dinner! The portions are generous and the food is always on point! Customer service is great as well! Next time you’re thinking of going to Chipotle go here instead! You will not regret it!

I love this place! Everything is delicious & I’ve never had something here that I didn’t like. Today I had the Mexican street corn & the birria ramen. For lunch &dinner&still had enough to share with my husband so yeah, the portions are huge.

We tried this place on a whim, and I am so glad that we did. As soon as you walk in, it doesn’t seem like much. But as soon as you go to order, you get greeted by the friendliest staff. The number of options is a foodies dream. I was really impressed by the toppings that they had and the number of salsa’s besides just the usual tomato based ones. They also have a salsa bar if you don’t want to commit to any without trying them out first. I got the vegan chorizo bowl with white rice with some of the toppings. My bowl was so full that I had enough for two meals. Overall, I would say this place will be my go-to from now on for a burrito bowl. I just love the freshness, the variety, the vibe, and above all the friendliness of the staff in this restaurant. Two thumbs up A definite stop if you like on the go burritos/bowls or even if you feel like dining in since they have a nice dine in area. They also serve Margaritas.

This restaurant is based on the Chipotle model….except Cilantro Taqueria serves higher quality, more authentic food, with wide-ranging options.

You won’t be disappointed by the hefty pour of rum in Cilantro’s strawberry daiquiri. Try one!
