Busy. We were seated immediately. Order taken immediately. Food was served promptly. I had the chimichanga supreme, it was great. My wife had the carnitas plate. It was delicious and filling. Ask for the spicy salsa, it is very flavorful and spicy.

Stopped in for dinner at this location and was quite disappointed.
The salsa is not the same as other locations. No flavor at all.
The food is also bland and not great at all.
The service was the absolute worst. 2 of us ordered burritos and waited over 40 minutes while all the other tables around us came in after us was serviced, ate and was checking out. Asked the waitress and she said it’s coming and came out 2 seconds later.
I think she forgot about us.

We went in for a late lunch and a Margarita yesterday and enjoy fast service, delicious food with nice portions and a very clean atmosphere. We just moved to the area and can’t wait to try the many items on the menu !

Chips and salsa was flavorful. Service was great, even though the English was poor, they were very nice and attentive. The Chicken and Guacamole was very good. The Chili Con Queso was not chili or queso ♀️, it was more like a tostada, it was just okay.

I came here to have my lunch before my fiancé had to go into work, and as it’s my first time, I can proudly say I’ll be asking him to take me here again. I came on a tuesday around four, and it wasn’t busy at all, so our server was at our table for anything we needed within seconds. Our drinks came seconds after we got them, and our server was very pretty and sweet with us. And I kid you not, minutes after ordering, the food came instantly, and it was hot! Hot enough that I had to blow off every bite i took for the first few minutes. The food was excellent! I had a shredded chicken chimichanga, which is my main dish at most restaurants. I found that the chimichangas served at this restaurant are particularly larger than most restaurants compared to size, and it is stuffed! Everything is very delicious. I highly recommend this place!!

I will always support and love this Agaves! The employees are so very kind, welcoming and caring! Each person welcomes and greets you with the best attitude. There is this female waitress whom I get frequently and I adore her! She’s so kind, and offers more items for food. For example when I order the tacos with carne asada she’ll offer me lime and spicy salsa to go on them. Her compassion as well as service is extremely helpful and excellent.
The food is always superb! I never have any complaints about the food. My favorite dishes to get are: carne asada tacos on corn tortillas with cilantro and onion. I’ll order extra cilantro with lime and spicy salsa. I also get the guacamole azteca, it’s so delicious and very healthy! It’s good for you if you’re trying to watch calories and want something healthy! The amount of dice avocado they give you is amazing!
I would also like to take a moment to mention how clean and welcoming the environment is. The lighting is perfect! It has a very calm and relaxed vibe. Lighting is a big issue for me, so the fact they have soft lighting is a major plus for me!

All the staff and management were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Our food was delicious, as always. The portion size was large. We were checked on regularly throughout our meal. Our beverages were kept filled. It was a very pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend Agave’s Lafayette.
