Wow — Sagano absolutely blew me away. From Macomb to Fenton, I haven’t found another hibachi spot that even comes close. I passed every other place on the way because I wanted to find the restaurant I could rely on for all my hibachi dinners, family gatherings, and celebrations — and this is it.
The restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere was warm and lively, and the staff made the entire experience feel special. But the real star was the food — incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and honestly the best hibachi I’ve ever had.
I’d gladly drive an hour any day just to eat here. Thank you, Sagano, for an exceptional experience.

Upon arrival from the back entrance we heard loud laughter and talking, thinking it was the hibachi patrons enjoying we were excited.
Nope it was no less than 5 employees yucking it up looking at their phones and having a good time. We wouldn’t have had a problem with it except there were dirty dishes and an uncleared surface on the hibachi area next to us. The floor was dirty with food and trash strewn about. Our grill was not very clean nor the area around it.
The steak(fillet ) was chewy. I didn’t complain to him I just wanted to get out of there. My stomach turned when I saw how filthy your establishment had become.
Far different from times past. Won’t be back. The server was pleasant but that means nothing when your food is presented on a garbage can lid. Shame on you.

We went for the first time for my brothers birthday. Unfortunately the table was one hour late but the manager offered us appetizers for free and a cupom because of the wait, it was pretty NICE! The food was amazing and a LOT of food, the service was exceptional too

Love Saganos. You NEVER leave hungry. I get the KING steak and Double noodle. Omg so good. The soup and salad are excellent. Place is kinda loud so if you have very young children be aware of that. They don’t take reservations. Tables are for 8 people. They have several locations and I’ve been to them all and they’re all always busy. We stopped going to the linden road location because it’s always packed and the lobby is small and every time we go smells like weed. Fenton and Clarkston are better.

we had a great dinner here. our chef was very funny and had great tricks. Our waitress Sam was so helpful and kind! Would come back here for sure!!!! We’re gonna have leftovers for two days lol the portions are huge and chef allowed us a taste of everything!

It’s unbelievable how amazing this place is. It’s a triple threat, service from Maddie she didn’t miss a beat. Plus, they put on an amazing show from the Hibachi chef. They are actually super funny, and the food can’t be beat, especially the sushi was amazing. Highly recommend. Please ask for Maddie, you won’t be disappointed and you will thank me later. Enjoy!

Awesome experience! My girlfriend and I visited for our 3 year anniversary and the service was fantastic. When we arrived, we were told it may be a little bit of a wait, but that was fine because we were able to visit the bar across the street while we waited.
Once we were sat and our chef began cooking, the whole table was having a great time with the spectacular cooking display (I was even able to catch the piece of cooked chicken our chef tossed from across the room ). Thank you Sagano for making it a memorable dinner!

A LOT of food! Great chefs, and attentive service! Nice atmosphere. We went on Valentines day, there was an auto gratuity of 20% which was not posted, but understandable given the holiday and being busy.

Been here twice. The service was great, the food was okay. The first time my husband and I went the food was not memorable or tell friends they have to visit here to try. The second time I came for a birthday party and was hoping to have a better experience with the food. I ordered the scallops and they were overcooked. Maybe third times a charm?
