I just bought a Juilenne salad from the Bellwood location and the salad shows sliced boiled eggs & white cheese but none was on my salad. I called and was told oh we don’t put eggs on our salads and I guess no cheese anymore. Well the picture is false advertisement and should be changed.

Came around 7pm on 11/10 for the 99¢ sub and the lady at the window was rude as soon as we mentioned we had the coupon. I know how it is working fast food especially with deals like this one but the attitude was unnecessary. She was explaining the $3 min you need to have on an order if you’re paying with a card as if we were slow. 0/10 service here. If you hate your job work elsewhere! Ruin business for someone else. Won’t be coming back here for this reason.

However, the customer service could definitely use improvement. On several visits, I’ve experienced long wait times and a lack of attentiveness from the staff. Orders are sometimes taken with minimal communication or eye contact, and there’s often a sense of being rushed even when the store isn’t busy. It doesn’t ruin the experience, but it does make it feel less welcoming than it could be.
A little extra friendliness and better organization at the front counter would go a long way in making Mr. Submarine a top-tier spot all around. The food already speaks for itself — now it’s time for the customer service to catch up. With a few adjustments, this place could be truly exceptional.

Don’t mess around. Please try the catfish fillet. Very tasty. Lots of fries too if you like them The turkey subs are tasty too. Never got anything there that wasn’t fresh. The staff always get it right even over the phone.

Sandwiches are really good. The bread was fresh. Service was good. There was a bit of a wait, but this place can get busy. Parking is tight and the drive thru is silly, but it works. Mr. Sub shares its place with a seafood place, so you can get decent sea food here as well, but it is pricey. Right along Mannheim road, you cant miss it.

Horrible customer service. The girl taking our order walked away while we were ordering. I ordered double cheese and they only put one piece of cheese on the sandwich then melted it then realized they forgot my extra cheese and threw two pieces of cheese on there.. I also asked what was on the sandwich and she failed to mention there was mayonnaise on the sandwich. And the proportions were way off. I hate an uneven sandwich. The sandwich was pretty good though.

Everytime I use the drive thru they ask me to drive around and come back after ordering. That’s absolutely ridiculous and they let the vehicles behind me sit at the window. Why the hell can’t I?
