The food was so delicious, and service was great! Got the huevos rancheros with pork green chili, and that sauce was fantastic! Also got the hikers benedict, and the greens that came with that were probably my favorite part of the whole meal! So bright and fresh. We both asked for poached easy, and they cooked those eggs perfectly–jiggly and runny and beautiful–the very first time! They know their namesake. Definitely a great experience!

The food was excellent! And people are so friendly. We were there on a Thursday at lunch time, but were able to get a table right away and did not wait long for our food. The fresh orange juice is so good.

Great place for a Saturday morning breakfast. Besides the food and service being exceptional, it has a really good atmosphere. It has the feel of a down-home cafe with friendly people and homemade food. Give it a try, and you will not be disappointed. The only thing I would change was that the gravy needed to be homemade.

Everything about our experience was awesome!! Our waitress “Amy” was the best!! Our food was spectacular, portions were perfect for the price!! We went to Lewis’s family restaurant before coming to the egg, they have a sign outside that says voted best. I’m not sure who they got votes from cuz the parking lot was completely empty. We all 4 got coffee that was outrageous priced. Ended up paying 12 bucks for water down coffee we didn’t drink. We left and came to the egg!! Thank y’all for saving the day!! We all 4 loved everything about the egg and if ever we have to travel that way again……we most definitely will stop by and eat!!! Y’all should open one in Little Rock!!

There were alot of people inside initially. Out wait was about 30 minutes. They have a buzzer so you can wait in your car til it goes off. It went pretty quick. Our waitress was attentive. Food took maybe twenty minutes. It wasn’t bad. I got the French toast, scrambled egg and turkey sausage. I finished it all. My brother got the oatmeal pancake and an egg white skillet. He had no complaints. Service was speedy and efficient. Food was good. They don’t really really season so I had to add my own salt and pepper but I didn’t mind it. I definitely would recommend giving it a shot.
