Great late night snack! The food was delicious and hot. The service was mediocre but it was also 330 in the morning and I’m sure the staff was tired. Otherwise the experience was fantastic and convenient

Ordered food from here. 4 out of 5 items were to soggy to eat. The bacon on my BLT was one step away from being RAW!!! I asked for no potatoes on my Italian hot dog and it had potatoes including ketchup and mustard which was not requested. I don’t want to order from here again. $70 order not even worth $25. This is the worst rating I’ve ever had to give and I’m very lenient. (Put the fries in my air fryer before taking a picture)

Worst place ever order a veggie fat sandwich which suppose to be veggie patty and all the veggies. Instead I get a beef and chicken mixture of some kind in my sandwich. Called to complain that I had given up meat for family and religious purposes. There answer call uber eats we will make you another one instead of say we are sorry. The place is nice. They are clean, well organized, the staff is also nice. I went for breakfast and got a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was good, a little salty and I will definitely go again to try their “FAT SANDWICH” which looks like it would reck my guts but it’s part of the R U experience so-
It’s a good place. It’s opened while most places around The Yard are closed early in the morning.

Not impressed to be completely honest. And that’s what I do, tell you guys my honest opinion. I had the mix platter, chicken & lamb w/ rice and salad. Everything was plain and bland. No flavor what so ever. Not even the rice. I couldn’t put my finger on why and how they could of messed this up. My friend had the same thing and of coarse he felt the same way. I’ve been here before and ate other items, and that’s why I’m giving this place a mediocre score. Hopefully they fix this because it’s a late night meal for alot of people since it’s near Rutgers University. This place has be in the area for over 20ish years. They started out in a food truck. And let me tell you the food was alot better back then! A whole lot better. Bring back the flavor!!

Really miss the old Grease Trucks. The food here is good. The sandwiches taste the same. The service was great and everyone was friendly and fast. Just miss going to the trucks. Everyone had their favorite spot. Now, it feels corporate. The nostalgia is gone.

For those who complain about too much fries/too greasy simply ASK for less or no fries and you’ll be good. It’s a hallmark of Rutgers, and truly a place to visit before you die! (Of their heart attack-inducing sandwiches!)

The sandwiches here are exactly what they’re called – fat sandwiches. They’re really messy to eat and stuffed with a bunch of fried food. I tried the Indian Sandwich which was interestingly named… But the combo of falafel and marinara sauce didn’t seem to work too well for me. Also the fries ended up getting very soggy somehow. I like the idea of having mozzarella sticks in the sandwich and wish there was a bit more lettuce/tomatoes. I think this place has good drunk food.

Waited for just about a hr. Almost like they forgot to put order in. People that ordered larger meals got there’s 1st had to say something to the guy. Frustrated so didn’t eat there got home and I was the only one who ordered a hoagie. Got the filipino atleast that’s what I thought. No gyro meat no mozzarella sticks on it and barley any sauce. Very bad 1st and last experience. Try at your own risk not worth the 58$ order we put in. In my opinion and this might be the second review I ever wrote on this.
