Hopping cash-only diner serving homestyle American dishes such as pancakes & burgers in snug digs.

This place is awesome! The menu offers so many choices, including a great variety of omelets and breakfast sandwiches. I love the home fries that comes with the items too! You can’t go wrong with their Hungry Owl item, especially with a couple of large, fluffy pancakes. The only downside is that on weekends it can get really packed, which means long wait times for both a table and the food.

Decent portions, great service, great food and a very nice atmosphere, are the reasons this breakfast restaurant is a favorite.
I visited with my family and decided to give it a big thumbs up.
There is only one set back: PARKING is very limited.
Server was amazing, but I didn’t get her name.
I loved the theme… would you send me a t-shirt if my pictures reach 5,000 potential customers?

Food is good here. I remember visiting years ago and not being impressed. Lately I’ve been here twice on a Saturday morning and was impressed by the taste and quantity of food.

Fantastic diner experience. Good and plentiful coffee, delicious food, welcoming atmosphere.
The food punches above its price-point and although the place is cash-only, an ATM is helpfully placed in the foyer.

I wanna start by talking about the place: it’s very cute, cozy, and the staff is super friendly and attentive.
Now about the food: no joke, it’s the best Eggs Benedict I’ve had in the USA! The ham is thick, flavorful and little salty, but it goes perfectly with the bread, the egg and the hollandaise sauce which is also amazing
We also loved the pancake, it’s not dry, it’s fluffy and flavorful
I’ll definitely keep coming back for the Eggs Benedict

The food was an 8 out of 10. Toast was too hard for my liking and the eggs where a CORPORATE brand. The service was perfect. The atmospher is pretty cool to eat inside and old time dinner.

We had The Hungry Owl, omelettes, a breakfast sandwich, and bacon, with plenty of coffee refills. Loved it all, especially the bacon! The atmosphere was fun and traditional diner, with regulars bantering throughout the meal. We will be back!

I have been coming to this diner since 1972, and w/ the exception of 3 times in the last 8 months the food, service and atmosphere have been top notch. I was with a group of about 20 friends today for breakfast, which unfortunately did not meet even minimal expectations . I don’t appreciate having a long wait ( today nearly an hour from the time we ordered) for my order when it’s not busy, having the waitress not know what I ordered when it did eventually arrive , having my order arrive @ the table cold, being able to see from where I was seated that there was very little activity in the kitchen and actually having no silverware at the table where3 of my group were seated! @ least 2 of us left w/o having anything to eat. This is not the first time. On one occasion was served cold French toast after the rest of my group( 5 of us that day)had finished their breakfast and then was charged $17 for that and a cup of tea! Was willing to give this diner a second and a third chance but today was totally unacceptable. Will no longer waste my time or $$.

I love breakfast and brunch and it is the perfect place for me. The food is so good and its service is even better. Their breakfast is huge so if you are very hungry, it is the best way for you to make yourself happy.

My first time actually sitting down inside for a meal. Breakfast was great! Steak was cooked perfectly and so was the corned beef hash in the Irish Benedict.
