Old ’50s style diner with really great service. No weight when I got there even though it was busy. Had a grilled cheese on Texas toast that melted my heart with the melted cheese. I also had a cup of the cheeseburger soup that was amazing and made me think of when I was a kid and I’m nearly 60 so it’s been a couple years. I wish I would have had more room for their ice cream as the people who were eating it looked like they were just this side of heaven. That could be because they all looked like they were over 80. Just kidding. It looked amazing. And all ages were there. This one is probably worth going out of your way for just a little bit.

Food was okay. The fried pickles, hush puppies and motzerella sticks were very good. The macaroni and cheese with chicken was okay. The chicken fried steak was the best main meal, it was tender and seasoned well. The cheeseburger is huge but the meat could have used some seasoning. The salad we thought would have more toppings. The roast beef was a small portion and very bland. The Cali chicken was missing its advacado and was rated a 2 out of 5 from the person who ate it. The brisket cheese steak sandwich was good but the fries all around on all the plates were soggy. The Philly cheese classic was also rated a 2 out of 5 from person who ate it. All around it was an okay experience but would come for the ice cream. Update most of my party got sick later that night.

Great little place, right off I-80. The waitresses were super friendly. It is definitely a family atmosphere, not a place for a quiet meal (I have to say, I really liked that). The menu is overwhelming – meaning there is *so* much to choose from! I wish we had more time to delve into the multitude of options for shakes and old fashion sodas. Speaking of time… this is NOT a fast food joint. A polite disclaimer on the back of the menu tells you that all meals are made to order, and to please be patient. I had the BLT and fries. My kids had the burgers. I thoroughly enjoyed mine, theirs got mixed reviews (hence the 3 stars on the food, but mine personally was a 5). Place was packed with locals, so I think that says a lot. Personally, I will atop there again if given the chance.

Friendly service, reasonably quick service (it’s not a fast food place). Burger patties are truly 1/2lb. As others have mentioned, best gluten free bun I’ve ever had! Our server said there were also gluten free chicken fingers available, so even though the pictures of the menu don’t reflect it, they do serve the GF crowd! Since discovering I can’t have gluten anymore, eating out on road trips has been tricky. But this will become a new regular stop when we visit family in Idaho traveling from CO.

To start out, our server took our drink order then kind of forgot about us, taking 1 more order and delivering their drinks AND food before we ever got our drinks. After my daughter asked if they could take our order the service got a better. All in all not terrible, but the food was not ad good as it usually is, maybe they just had an off day?

I was looking for a place that served more than just grease. As you walk in the door there is a sign that says we aren’t fast food that’s McDonald Burger, King and Wendy’s. This restaurant has plenty of great menu options. We were able to have some nice homemade soup, a deli sandwich, and I had a really fantastic pineapple, mandarin walnut salad. The waitress Lassandra was extremely attentive and friendly and often came back to check on us. The restaurant was clean, especially the restrooms. I couldn’t believe how clean they were. The building wasn’t very new but it was clean. Very clean, especially the restrooms. It was impressive. This is definitely a must try.

Great diner burgers, salads, sandwiches, and ice cream. I had a double with Swiss, pastrami, bacon, mushrooms, and green chile. The burger was served open faced. It was what you would expect of a diner burger with these toppings. Fries were natural cut and cooked well leaving a slightly soft texture. Everyone with me enjoyed their meal. I would eat here again.

Great place for a plethora of menu items and desserts The food was hot, fresh, and delightful! Perfect! The chili was wonderful! The salad was prepared with “fresh” ingredients and worth the meal! The facility was nice, clean, and orderly! The staff was excellent and attentive the entire meal! The restaurant filled up quickly, but the staff handled everybody smoothly! Impressive, and we’ll be back for dessert the next time!
