On the road staying at a hotel near the airport. Took a chance on something close by. I had the carnitas plate. There is a salsa/condiment bar with mild red and green salsas and a hot and extra hot red salsa. The carnitas came with a flour tortilla the size of a dinner plate and made a wonderful ad hoc taco/burrito/stuff my face. Guacamole and pico de gallo included. This isn’t a fancy spot most folks got food to go. I live in San Antonio where we have Mexican food on nearly every block with a wide variety. The food here was really good- the carnitas with just a bit of crust but still moist. A Modelo beer made it all come together. Glad i took a chance.

Great food. While the price is high, so is the amount of food. If I could do it over again I would have shared with my daughter. I was not complaining but she only ate half of her huge quesadilla.

Worst burrito I’ve ever had completely drenched couldn’t even eat half the taste was mediocre at best. They always ask for tips for just handing out food considering 1 burrito is over 10 bucks. Wouldn’t go back ever again

I wasn’t that happy with what I had. Why? I found out when I left with the rest of my order it wasn’t what I ordered.
The picture is number 19 on their menu which had refried beans that lacked any flavor and rice was the same. Tamales weren’t bad overall.

First time eating here. Breakfast burrito was very big and filling. Had the sausage version and they have a nice self-service sauce bar, so you can spice it up the way you like. Decor is dated, but didn’t detract from the food. Very busy with service men/women nearby. Friendly staff and quick service. Would eat here again.

I am new to Colorado Springs, and a Mexican friend told me the Mexican food is disappointing in CS. Except for couple of places.
I was very hungry after shopping, and decided to take a chance here due to great reviews. I am so glad I did. I ordered their chicken burrito. I went through the drive through. It was DELICIOUS. Piping hot and the nice young lady was so nice and offered green and red salsa. If you like Mexican food, you won’t be disappointed. The person that took my order, as well as the young lady at the window were both so friendly and patient. I had a bit of trouble choosing, but they were so nice about. I will definitely return. Chicken tasted grilled and had great flavor. I would like to come back and sit inside for one of their plates.

Carne asada is dry. Fries are hard as if they refried old ones. Horrible.
We’ve gone in person and door dash is worse.
This place used to be good but we’ve been let down lately.

If you are craving delicious, authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go! The staff is so friendly and the service is fast, whether you go inside or through the drive-through. The chili verde plate is exceptional! The pork is slow-roasted and seasoned to perfection. It is served with two enormous, fresh-made tortillas, refried beans, seasoned rice, guacamole, and Pico. There’s enough on the plate for at least two meals. In fact, we had leftovers of every dish we ordered – carne asada fries, carne asada burritos, and the chili verde. The dining room atmosphere is nothing special but reminds me of the many authentic Mexican restaurants in South Texas where we spend out winters. You have to admire their efforts to turn an old building into a new restaurant without spending a fortune on decor. You don’t need new tables, chairs, walls and floors. It’s all clean and homey. Two miniscule critiques – the correct prices should be displayed on your online menus and maybe turn down the volume a bit on the dining room TV. Neither of those things will stop us from coming back, though!

That supreme beef burrito was amazing. Also who just puts whole roasted jalapenos out on the counter free of charge, this place that’s who. I thoroughly enjoyed my food, the service, and got to watch some SpongeBob while I enjoyed my burrito.
