On New Year’s Eve I ordered the margherita pizza and boneless tenders. The pizza did not have any basil, sauce soaking the crust, and visibly burnt. Tasted bad as well. The chicken tenders were crispy but had a slight fish smell as they were probably fried right after a batch of fish. I’ve dined in a few times previously and the food was good. This was my first time ordering take out and I was very disappointed.

We arrived for our reservation about 5–10 minutes early and were told our table would be ready shortly — no issue there. There were two parties ahead of us already waiting, and both were seated before us as expected. What felt off, however, was that two additional walk-in groups (same party size as us) were seated next, while we continued to wait. At that point, having a reservation didn’t seem to offer any benefit, so we opted to sit at the bar instead.

Service at the bar was mixed. The first bartender dropped menus in front of us with no greeting or acknowledgment — just a very abrupt placement of menus. Not the friendliest welcome. The second bartender, however, was much more pleasant and personable, and she’s really the reason the service didn’t fall flat entirely.

Food was also hit-or-miss. My sandwich was good, no complaints there. But the sweet potato fries were genuinely poor — they tasted freezer-burnt or just old. The restaurant replaced them, but the second order was an entirely different cut of fry (crinkle/steak-cut instead of the regular cut we were originally served). It left me wondering why the replacement was completely different and whether bar guests might be getting a lesser version assuming they won’t notice. It was odd enough to stand out.

The atmosphere itself was nice, and the one bartender who did engage with us was great. Unfortunately, the overall experience felt inconsistent, and the quality didn’t match expectations — especially with a reservation not seeming to matter and with food quality varying so noticeably.

Photos of the two different batches of fries are included for reference. (

Always have a good meal at Brewfish. From the Chale soup (clam chowder and kale) to the pizzas, the overall quality is always there. The service is also top notch most of the time, alongside the atmosphere.

My only real gripe is that when you order a 16oz beer pour on tap, you actually get it in a 12oz glass that’s slightly smaller than a true pint glass. Feels a bit deceptive to me.

Great place if you’re looking for a comfortable dining experience with a warm atmosphere and friendly service. I enjoyed their Seafood Combo with Mashed Potatoes & Green Beans. And the Old Fashioned was pretty good too!

went there on a Saturday at around 1 PM there was just four of us, a party of 30 walked in right before us so I thought that would be a problem, turns out it wasn’t a problem at all. We got seated right away, great food, great drinks, or go to spot when we are on the South Shore

Cool place. Food was excellent. It’s not expensive, but not cheap. If that makes sense. Well worth it though. Great beer selection, awesome food, and cool atmosphere. Service was perfect. Would recommend to anyone. Pictured is my wifes Fish Tacos and my Seafood Alfredo Bisque.

Excellent meal at brewfish – three fish tacos for the meal and a nice serving of thick fries. The blackened salmon BLT was also enjoyed. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area! Staff was friendly and spot was spacious. We were sat right away on Saturday night prime time.

We had a great waitress named Emma. Saturday night there was a 30 minute wait.
We had seafood linguine, which was excellent and seafood combo, which was not that good.
The vegetables were crunchy that was great. The mashed potatoes were cold. The seafood was dry.
Do not try the moose for dessert because it was not light and fluffy like a moose . The chocolate flowers cake is a winner! The drinks were awesome. Very nice for the country.

We had our 45th class reunion at the Brew Fish last night. Erin was a great help getting the event set up including creating the link for ticket sales. We started the night with pretzels and beer cheese which was DELICIOUS! For dinner we had a buffet. The food was FANTASTIC! The service was also AMAZING. I highly recommend the Brew Fish for anyone planning an event for a small group of people. (We were a group of about 40)

Went here recently and the food is delicious! Service is quick, waitress was on top of everything and had us taken care of. There was some live music and the guy was a little too loud, could barely hear anyone talk. Weird for a Monday, but still really enjoyed it.
