I happen to be in the area so I stopped by for lunch. I was really impressed. The food was delicious. I got two vegetarian dishes and my uncle got a chicken hibachi dish. Service was fast, the staff was extremely friendly, the atmosphere was peaceful and the restaurant is very clean. They have a small bar with a television, which sits about 7 to 8 people . They also have a sushi area that sits 7-8 people. I would imagine this place gets really busy so I would say I got lucky today. They have a really nice lunch menu (great portion & price).

I planned this meal for son’s 23rd birthday while he was in town as I’ve heard so many people rave about Fujiyama. I did my research, looked on their website for open times and at the menu. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when we walked in today and were told they don’t do hibatchi tables during lunch hours. I’ve now spent 10 more minutes scouring their page to see where I missed that memo, seems that I didn’t.
So, let’s move on, the food. It sucked. RUN! Seriously! I just dropped $100 which I saved up months for to be able to afford this meal to be in and out in 40 minutes and fed crap. No part of it was cooked hibatchi style. Most disappointing was the rice with sauce dumped on it and mixed around. The ginger sauce tasted sweet, looked like French dressing with a touch of ginger dumped in. We work hard and spend responsibly so eating out is special to us and I’m very careful about places I choose. I should have known from the location, look of the building and parking lot to run. There is a trash can outside with tons of trash dumped beside it. Yes, I regret not taking a photo now to post. I’ve never written a negative review before but I don’t want anyone else to experience what I just did.
The atmosphere was cold and dark. I felt like I was in a morgue. But wait, the Price is Right was playing on the television in the room. Please tell me who has normalized tvs playing everywhere? Would I ever return? Absolutely not! Don’t waste your time and just go to Benihana and pay the few extra dollars.

Horrible customer service. We had a reservation for 9 on an empty monday. My dad’s 83rd birthday. 5 of us got there first, who flew from Jersey to surprise my dad. they wouldn’t allow us to sit. Even when my dad pulled into the parking lot with the rest of the party. Even though we beg. They wouldn’t allowed us to sit for the surprise. I’m sorry, that’s a bit too much. They were not friendly and didn’t even apologize. The food and atmosphere is great. But sorry they lost at least 9 customer over this
simple thing. That’s my experience.

We had an INCREDIBLE time at Fujiyama today! Our chef Tommy was so personable and friendly and made our dinner so much fun and an experience to remember. Probably one of the BEST hibachi experiences I’ve had in a long time due to Tommy!! Will visit again and hope he is our chef. (:

I want to offer some constructive feedback because I genuinely enjoy the food here and would love to keep supporting this place. Customer service is vital to any restaurant’s success. A simple greeting — even “We’ll be right with you” — makes a huge difference in how guests feel when they walk in.
Standing around chatting or being on phones while customers are waiting to be acknowledged is not acceptable. First impressions matter. Guests shouldn’t have to wonder if they’re going to be helped, especially when the restaurant isn’t busy.
Great food will bring people in, but great service keeps them coming back. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity to improve, because this place has the potential to be amazing all around.

We LOVE this place!! We are from Orlando but stop by ANYTIME we pass Stuart on the way to South Florida! Service is AMAZING and the food is TOP NOTCH! Wish we lived closer, we would be here all the time! The wings and the spicy seaweed salad are some of our favorite items! The sushi is also super fresh!!
