Lovely place. Its a shame I dont live local. The service was brilliant. The staff made sure we were well looked after the entire couple of hours we were there. The food was stunning and its well priced also. Of late the meals out we’ve had have been well overpriced and not good at all. The price here are about right but the food is very good quality. I highly recommend!

Popped in for the Sunday carvery after everywhere else was full — best decision we made! Lovely food, great portions, and the roast potatoes were incredible. Friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere too. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

Our first time with our granddaughter. A super plate full of food. All the veg was perfectly cooked – what a selection!

Went on Saturday night for dinner with my 93yr young mother, who had the salmon (she ate the lot!) I had the belly pork, Beautifully cooked! And tempura prawns to start also perfect!
The staff were very helpful with my mum, and genuinely friendly.
I would definitely recommend The Farmers to all and will be returning on my next trip to Yaxley

We had the most fabulous meal here this evening! The menu is fantastic and full of choice for a very fussy family! The service was great and our waitress was very attentive and made sure everything was okay with our food and regularly checked in to see if we needed anything else. There was a little wait for one of the rice dishes and they kindly took this off the bill without us even asking. The food was fresh and tasty! And we will definitely be back!

Really nice local restaurant for Sunday Carvery and go here a few times a year to eat in/get a takeaway box.
It’s our go to for a roast dinner.
My *only* gripe is pudding is expensive at £6.50 when one of the choices is the Daim bar cake which is sold at £2 a slice at Ikea/£4 for the whole cake at Tesco.
Totally don’t mind paying when its a homemade dessert.
Sticky toffee pudding seemed to taste more like golden syrup sponge when I had it recently than a toffee sauce.
Haven’t had chance to try the other elements of their menu to date but hope to eventually (the tap and grill menu)

Great food and really great service. All the food was prepared fresh and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. I had their Nepalese lamb curry which was pretty much as good as they come, my wife had the fish and chips which was lovely and fresh. Portion sizes were spot on. Couldn’t ask for more, a hidden gem.

Wasn’t sure what to order, but took the opportunity to have the Pan Asian cuisine instead of a basic burger, which after eating I definitely believe it wouldn’t have been basic. There was 8 of us and we had a phenomenal experience, Tikka Masala, Sweet and Sour Chicken, many naans, Lamb Shank and Sirloin Steak, everything arrived beautifully hot and the most delicious flavours. It takes time for them to prepare it, but definitely worth the wait, will definitely be returning and recommending to many. Was so excited to tuck in, forgot to take a picture before. The lovely waitress we had was informative, polite and chatty, a true delight.
