I had a Great Plate (garbage plate) and it was excellent. Nice sized portions equal to the price. I highly recommend to anyone who like burger, dogs, and chicken. I will definitely go back when I have a chance.

Bill Gray is a old favorite, I would go after important events to eat with the family, I do feel the quality has gone down a bit since I was a kid but that might just be nostalgia talking, the burgers are good and the milkshakes are excellent. They have great deals based on time of day or day of the week which is a clever way to increase customer retention

At Bill Gray’s in Gates, the food truly impressed us, even if the prices gave us pause. My wife and I both ordered the fish fry, and it turned out to be one of the best we’ve had — crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Definitely memorable, though also among the most expensive fish fry dinners we’ve ever had.
Our son chose a double cheeseburger, and he couldn’t stop raving about it. Juicy, stacked high, and absolutely delicious — exactly what a burger should be. Like the fish fry, though, it leaned toward the pricey side for a casual meal.
On the bright side, service was very quick. We barely had to wait, and the food came out hot and fresh, which made the experience even better. The staff kept things moving smoothly despite the busy atmosphere.
The only drawback here is really the cost. Dining alone, it wouldn’t be too bad, but as a family the bill adds up quickly. Still, the quality of the food makes it easier to justify now and then.
Bottom line: Bill Gray’s delivers fantastic flavor — from fish fry to burgers — with short wait times and well-prepared meals. Just be prepared for your wallet to feel it if you’re feeding more than one. A solid four stars.

Something happened to the $11.95 fish sandwich! I know it’s a smaller piece than the dinner, but yesterday it was a really thin piece of fish I could not believe it, like they sliced it in half- barely any actual fish inside the fried coating- was shocked! Wonder if its like this at all Bill Grays or just this franchise in Gates? We have been getting fish sandwiches at Bill Grays for several years, never noticed this.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and hit the spot. I ordered the grilled cheese with bacon on multigrain roll and it was probably the best sandwhich I’ve had in a long time….it didn’t take long to finish it. The tator tots hot and delic.
My son always orders the garbage plate and he never complains and he never has trouble finishing it….even when full.

Easy to locate. Took a bit to get our food but it’s fresh so that makes sense. Food was very good. Bathrooms were a bit dirty and needed some TLC. Tables and seating area was clean.
