So don’t get the crab all you can eat but the hibachi and buffet are good, it is old and run down but staff is very friendly and prices are fair

Exceptionally wide range of choices, everything was fresh and cooked well. Very surprised to see some of the dishes like egg tarts, baby lobster, frog legs etc.
Friendliest wait staff, warm welcome and great service, made sure we have clean table and drinks refilled the whole time, what a great experience. Bill for 2 person + tax only 33$. Highly recommended.

Huge variety of buffet offerings. Fresh Hibachi grill. Sushi choices too but, that’s not my thing. Was happy to see a few of the buffet trays refilled with freshly cooked meats.

Don’t judge me. My plate has items from the 4 food groups. I particularly love the broccoli, noodles, orange chicken, and crab rangoon. The buffet also has a variety of salads and fruit. Happy birthday music joyfully played in background. I’ll be visiting again soon, and I invite you as well.

Don’t walk… run away. By the time you see a roach come at you from the napkin holder on the table or see one race across the floor, (I’ve seen both here on seperate occasions) you know there’s an infestation problem. There’s no such thing as one roach. While roaches spread like wildfire they are nocturnal. The takeaway here is if you’re seeing a few in the dining area during daylight hours then it follows there are hundreds in that kitchen. Let’s face it, roaches are showing up for the same reason you are. They’re hungry. Still, I was shocked to discover a roach marinating in my food. (See photo) If I’d been distracted I might have missed it. At first I thought it was part of the sauce on a piece of broccoli. NOPE…DISGUSTING!
Gee willikers, how many roaches have I eaten there through the years at this place that I wasn’t aware of ???
Common sense would dictate if you discovered a roach on your table or the floor near your table the staff would apologize profusely and offer to move you to another table. Possibly even comp your meal? Don’t look for that here! Letting either of the sibling owners know there’s a problem won’t make you any friends. They already know, and can be described as casually apathetic. They’ll come to your table quietly remove any evidence of the pest (provided you’ve killed it) and then childishly refuse to look at or speak to you. I’m not the only one to see roaches at Buffet Palace, read the reviews. That’s been my experience over time. Lol, I’m honestly not sure why I went back after seeing them in the dining area. Finding one cooked in my food though? My food the roach marinated in came from one of their buffet pans so that whole pan was contaminated. They didn’t pull anything. They kept right on serving food from the pan the roach had soaked in. These folks don’t care. No worries, I’ll never be back. Roaches carry disease and sometimes parasites. Hard pass.

Used to be an amazing place to go with great food. Now it’s just a dirty place to eat. Felt rushed to leave, the hibachi cook looked like he hated his job. The sushi was warm and hard.
Just wow. What a shame for the owners.

Well I was used to love this place. So much that I would make the trip down from little rock. But the last couple times iv come down iv seen a cock roach or 2. So i decided to sweep this cock roach infested place under the rug. Plus there’s a few more reviews centered around people seeing cock roaches. There’s even a picture of a cock roach. One even talks about getting hold of the food & health administration. Someone saying they found a dead cock roach in their food. Thats bad!! I figure I’ll find somewhere else to start eating when I’m hungry for Chinese. Until they get their cock roach infested building problem figired out, resolved and under control.

Came in on June 21st at 11: 15 for lunch. Fixed a couple of plates from the serving lines. Ate a little before I noticed that the food that I had gotten from one of the serving lines was cool to the touch. It wasn’t a 140 degrees, which is the minimum required temperature for food on a buffet. I ate the other items and got my ticket from my server. I went to pay and I told the guy, who was seating people and cashing people out, that the food on the far serving line was cool to the touch and not at the proper temperature. The young man just looked at me and totally ignored me. Then he said $16.43. The food was nothing to write home about and potentially dangerous, but the customer service was horrible! Hoping I don’t get sick.
