been coming here with my family since I was a baby, this is our go to Mexican place for the last +20 years, it’s hard to think of a business that’s been up for so long, staff has always been inviting. never disappointed with the quality of the food and taste! always such a good time no matter the occasion. they do have vegetarian options as well for those who do not eat meat.

Firstly, was excited about their happy hour which is weekday from 4pm-6pm. The service was fast, polite and very attentive! Loved every minute of it – it goes a long way when someone notices, you may need another round before having to ask. Their $6 margaritas do not skimp on portion nor booze!!! Let’s not forget the food. My hubby and I ordered 12 wings and the Toro Supreme app – everything was delicious. The decor was rustic and unique. Very vibrant atmosphere. They’ve made regulars out of us. You can’t beat these prices and quality food. Will definitely be back!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The food is delicious and affordable, the service is truly great (everyone is extremely friendly, helpful with recommendations and patient), and the atmosphere is lively and fun. The margaritas on the rocks are so delicious, and I love the interior decor. It makes you feel like you are eating in a restaurant in Mexico. Highly recommended if you’re looking for good, quality Mexican food and a fun, lively place for dinner. This restaurant caters to families of all ages, couples, large groups, and more!

A long standing South Orange staple, Toronto Loco is a fun time no matter when you go. It was fitting to head there to celebrate Cinco De Mayo and the vibes were vibing. There was a great atmosphere with a fun crowd and live DJ. The service was precisely on point with an engaged, fun wait staff who served with smiles and giveaway beads [despite how hard they were working]
The food was flavorful as always and satisfyingly delicious. Reasonably priced, you won’t be disappointed if you head here for a fun time out.

To begin, I don’t understand why they only have 4.3 stars, Service is excellent; top tier. As soon as you sit, menus come out, and appetizers come out in less than 5 minutes. You can also decide to eat outside here. The food I had was the fajita Toro loco that comes in different ways either with shrimp, steak, or chicken or two of each or all three in one. Comes with tortillas and melted beans & yellow rice. The fried ice cream was really good as a dessert. The waitresses always ask if everything is okay. Top tier customer service had to drop a review.

This authentic Mexican restaurant is located in small downtown South Orange, NJ. It offers a large variety of Mexican food at reasonable prices. The establishment has no parking but there is a municipal parking lot behind the restaurant. Once you walk inside, you will notice the place is located in an old mixed used building with apartments above. The place is very old and outdated, needs fresh paint and extreme wall washing. My concern would be that of lead paint so I try to stay away from the dirty walls. The food comes out fairly quickly and fresh. Not a fan that they do not use white meat/chicken breast but rather will give you the dark meat which is also cheaper for them. They charge a lot for sodas, the cups are small and the restaurant does not provide free refills. Is not a bad place but definitely not the best. The staff, however, is attentive and always coming to your needs. I had multiple meals there regardless of the downfalls.
