Can you say food coma ??? I can…
The food was amazing and piping hot, the portions were way more than ample.
Be prepared to have leftovers and a nap afterwards.
So delicious to say the least.

Worst place to get food. First prices are way too high, I got a number 6 The bottom of my bread was soggy, there was barely any meat on my sandwich mainly mushrooms and the mushrooms that was on my sandwich were cold. (VERRY DISAPPOINTED) and not to mention there wasn’t manager in sight just all kids

Maybe it’s just me and nostalgia but I LOVE Big John’s. I get it every time I’m in Michigan. The super steak with cheese and peppers is the way to go. Honesty I’ve had many cheeses cheesesteaks that were nicer but nothing quite hits like this place. A bit run down but always fast and always great.

Took 15 min to get my order and I got my sub and there’s hardly any meat on it I’ve never had a sub with mostly bread. Used to be the best but today was absolutely ridiculous and if I didn’t live so far away I’d take it back.

was not impressed at all. Service was poor and they acted like they really didn’t Care. This was obvious when I opened my Sandwich. I’m glad I didn’t use drive thru otherwise would have been wearing it. it was cut soon poorly there was no bottom to the bread, it just fell out.
id think twice before you go thinking this is your typical Big Johns

Took one bite whole sandwich feel apart on my lap
22$ wasted. Definitely not made fresh they had my order ready in 3 min flat there’s no way they cooked it and the mushrooms in that little amount of time. Won’t be back

It’s s shame this place. Everyone knows that you always get a loaded sandwich. But when you don’t that’s exactly what the manger tells you. We measure the meat out. You got a 50/50 shot you will get good food or service. Dine at your own risk

I used to love stopping by Big John Steak & Onions whenever I was in Saginaw — it was one of those spots I genuinely looked forward to for a good steak sandwich. Unfortunately, the service and quality have gone downhill over time.
It seems like mostly younger staff are running things now, and both the food and the customer service have suffered. My last visit was especially disappointing — I actually found hair in my food. What’s worse is that none of the employees were wearing hair nets, even though several had long hair and weaves. That’s just unacceptable for a place serving food.
It’s sad to say, but after years of being a loyal customer, I think it’s time for me to hang it up and stop going to Big John’s.

The customer service was great but when I left and got on the road back to Ohio. I pulled my sandwich out the bag and it was completely wet and bun was soggy , I had just hit 75 south from Holland Ave. I was not going to get off on the Bridgeport exit to come back so I decided to call and talk to a manager to let them know how disappointed I was after spending $29.68. I just wanted him to make it right. So when I come back to town because Saginaw Is my home. I live in Columbus ohio now. The Manager said oh well im sorry that’s it which to me is not exceptable, Big John’s is the first place we stop when we get to town and our last stop before we leave. The food is usually really good but this time it was very bad.
