Had An early dinner (4:30p) here with the family on Labor Day. We were coming back from the shore and wanted to find a place on the west side of the Bay Bridge. The restaurant is tucked away next to the water a couple miles off of Rt. 50.

There was plenty of parking and the indoor seating area has a great view of a large dock area off a River (see pics). Our server, Lisa, was friendly and took care of all our questions and orders (and side orders) quickly and efficiently.

We got the Jumbo Shrimp and Hushpuppies starters. Both of these were fantastic. I especially appreciate well made hushpuppies, so I was very happy with the quality of these puppies

I ordered the fried cod sandwhich with fries for the main. The cod was a very generous portion and was crisp and not overly breaded. The only “average” item was the fries which could have been hotter and crisper. However the “chips” that came with my wife’s fish-n-chips order were excellent and she let me eat a number of those to compensate .

We also got a slice of the key lime pie for desert and that also was quite good.

Overall. a lovely little place hidden off the main drag. Will put this on our list of places to go “After the bridge”

Very good selection of well presented dishes. They do not take reservations at this time.

Just an observation while dining on the dock… A few larger boats couldn’t dock because all the larger slips in front were filled with smaller boats. It looks like they really need some type of well displayed signage to ask smaller boats to park on the back side of the dock.

Enjoyed happy hour on the water. Mondays are all day happy hour. Food was really good! The salmon bites were my favorite! Fries were crispy! Would for sure come back. Megan was a really nice server as well!

Had a great meal at this charming dockside restaurant with beautiful waterfront views. We ordered the jambalaya and crab cakes, and both were fantastic. The jambalaya was rich and flavorful with just the right amount of spice, and the crab cakes were packed with fresh crab, crisp on the outside and tender inside. For dessert, the key lime pie was the perfect finish—tangy, creamy, and not overly sweet. The laid-back atmosphere and friendly service made it even better. A great spot to relax, enjoy fresh seafood, and take in the scenery. I’ll definitely be back for more!

What a neat find just minutes from Annapolis! Tucked in a neighborhood, this is right on the water! The view of the boats, water & wildlife is amazing. Once you walk in, you are greeted with a smile from the host. We were seated next to a large window. They had a fire in the fireplace, which took the chill out of the air and made it feel more cozy! Our server, Kelly, was great! We ordered 12 oysters & the Tuna Tartar for the table. Wow! Fresh & clean & delicious! I got the seafood broil which was a large piece of Cod, scallops & shrimp with coleslaw & broccoli. My husband got the Grilled Mahi with a lemon caper butter sauce (yum) onion rings & a salad. Huge portions and very fresh on the seafood! I’m so glad that I found this hidden gem! We will be coming back! I love it here! Thank you everyone for a great lunch with friends!

Very nice place on the water. Get there via road or water. We came by road due to the snow and frozen water today (January 21, 2024). Staff are friendly and efficient. All our food was good. Tried to get a picture of the crab pizza, but it got snatched up pretty quickly! Age range of our group was 9 to 70 years and they had something for each of us. Accessible to all with upstairs and downstairs sections. The deck looks nice for better weather.

Driving from Baltimore to Washington, we were looking for a nice, cozy, local spot for lunch that was on the water, and we came upon Donnelly’s Dockside Bar & Grille. This was a bit ‘out of the way’ from our destination, but we weren’t in a hurry, so we decided to check it out.
After driving 15 minutes through the area we came up the restaurant located right on the water, with several boats perched on the water along the docks.
It was a lovely spot, which seemed to be exactly what we looked for.

We were seated on the Patio – which faces the water and were quickly attended to by a friendly and attentive waitress.
They had a special on Oysters so we ordered some for an appetizer. Then we ordered a caprese salad with crab (which could use a touch more crab) and a soft shell crab sandwich (which could have used a touch more seasoning). The food was perfectly cooked, and nicely presented. The oysters were very fresh and tasty.
The salad was very nice and a light summery meal.
The crab sandwich was very tasty as well.

The service was great, prices were good, and the view was absolutely lovely and overall the experience was just what we were looking for.

Great early evening views, nice clean atmosphere. I had the Salmon BLT Handheld and it was delicious! Celebrating a friend’s Birthday and the lovely evening was capped off with a delicious piece of cake! We’ll be back for sure.

A little gem of a restaurant off the beaten path. Waterside dining on the dock or on the deck, it was not too crowded when we went at lunchtime on a Wednesday. I had the 1/2 lb of Old Bay jumbo shrimp. It came with a couple fingerling potatoes and a few onions. The spicy jalapeno margarita was excellent. Hubby had fried green tomatoes with crab. Waitress was excellent, especially since we were seated at the table at the very end of the dock. Several boats docked while we were there. A great little location.
